The beach house was perfectly clean and their breakfast was a "Proper English Breakfast." The Seaside path was within walking distance and the view was spectacular. "Hotel was in a great location, being close to the town centre and the sea front and the seaview was very nice. Breakfast was good and the staff were good throughout. The room had a huge en-suite bathroom which was finished to a very high standard and was very nice. The bedroom was ok but not to the same high standard as the bathroom and view of the sea was somewhat spoilt by the view of a poor condition balcony. "Cozy hotel with very sympathetic and welcoming staff. It feels very much like home. The rooms are fine and clean. Their restaurant has a menu with good options for lunch and dinner. It does not have a lift, so, if carrying heavy luggage, it might be a little effort. The curtains in the bathroom could be a little thicker to make the shower experience more pleasant. Otherwise, I only have compliments on the quality of the premises, the service and the personnel. "

"The attic rooms, which are expensive, are not fit for purpose in hot weather. No air-con, of course, but you can barely open the windows. The sun blasts on to the roof just above and creates an oven! The provided fan was little help. Very bad night's sleep. The unhelpful receptionist told me that the hot room was due to the heat. I asked if we could swap rooms, but he said the hotel was fully booked, despite a portable sign outside saying 'Rooms available tonight'. Breakfast was very poor....

"I paid extra for a room with a view of the ocean and I'm glad I did. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious. The bed in room 13 was very comfortable. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, kettle in the room which was replenished every day. It's not an ultra-modern hotel but everything was spotlessly clean and in good condition.
