Parrot's Paradise - 2660 Lemon Ave

As you enter the pillared foyer you are immediately struck by the gorgeous view of the pool through the sliding glass doors in the formal living room. To the right of the entrance is the formal dining room in dark wood with table seating for six.

To the left of the entrance is the large master suite with a king bed, TV, sitting area as well as a private entrance to the pool.

The kitchen in this home is large and spacious, fully equipped with all the modern conveniences. There is a small table and chairs for dining overlooking the pool area. The family room has comfortable couches for viewing of the TV, VCR, and DVD player. Just past the family room is the second master suite with a queen-sized en-suite bathroom and a private entrance to the pool. Also on the right are two other guest rooms one with twin beds the other furnished with a full bed.Ā  These two bedrooms share a full bath.

There is a washer and dryer just off the kitchen that leads to the two-car garage.Ā  Walk down the lane to the beach for the most amazing sunsets!Ā  (1 mile to the beach) A beautiful vacation home, has it all!

Nice place

We enjoyed the area and beaches! The house is nice everything you need for cooking and very comfortable beds and blankets. Hot tub wasnā€™t hot and only one jet would come on but it was so hot outside we didnā€™t want to use it so i didnā€™t contact the owner but for future reference might need to check it. The pool was fun and outdoor furniture was very nice and comfy. We enjoyed the house very much for our family needs. Great area! Thank you for having us!

Wonderful vacation

Lovely home, spacious, great location, quiet and private. Pool is awesome! We did a lot of cooking and kitchen was well furnished, grill worked very well. Nice to have a garage for vehicle. Had a little trouble getting into the lock box for key but we managed finally. Clothes dryer took forever, needs to be upgraded. Location to beach was fantastic, very short drive. Restaurants were fairly close, this home is not located in an area where walking is an option but privacy was great! Would definitely stay here again. Lesley responded to emails promptly and very easy to communicate. Had a great time!!

Beautiful Home and Location

Absolutely beautiful home with everything you need. Perfect location just a few minutes ride to Manasota Key Beach for sunning, shark tooth hunting and breath taking sunsets. Loved the enclosed pool area, spent a lot of time enjoying meals in the seating area, fans keep you nice and cool. Lesley is the best host you could ask for, quick to answer questions and so helpful. She is top notch in our books.

Great house close to everything. Great location to Manasota beach, just 3 min drive! I really enjoyed our stay in your lovely house. House has everything you need during your stay, very spacious, The outdoor area itā€™s great.

Trash cans and recycle cans in garage were filthy and smelly. Clutter in garage; fishing poles/hooks entangled with pool noodles, etc. Master dresser draw falling apart. Master shower needs cleaning/bleaching and grouting. Master shower knob screws were loose. Master Vanity doors/hinges loose. Master bed linens clean, yet extremely worn. Jacuzzi pool jets not working. House a/c temp only allowed to 78 F??? Outdoor sconce bulbs - several were blown. Swimming pool underwater lites were blown. Kitchen utensils unclean upon arrival. Trash / litter in backyard. BBQ grill nook area filthy; grease, splatter, drippings, etc. Pool patio needs power wash. Leather couches in poor condition, severely worn.

This house was as described, very secluded. Furnished nicely and owner was very communicative. Definitely stay here again! This vacation has convinced us to move to the gulf coast in the next two years!!

A great family retreat!

All went well. Was a bit disappointed that there was no toilet paper. Paper towels, no top sheets on beds. So getting in late at night and having to go shopping wasnā€™t the greatest. But otherwise the house was clean and neat . Visitors guides were most helpful as were the restaurant listed in you book. Didnā€™t realize that there was garbage left in the garage until we left that had been left there. Some pillows were on top of the van so I thought it was garbage. All in all we hope to rent from you in the future. Thanks for everything!

Enjoyable stay

My family enjoyed this property. It was well e-quipped, clean, and comfortable. The check-in process was super easy as was communication with the owner. We had a problem with one of the fans in the bedroom working. We contacted the owner and it was replaced right away. The house is a bit farther from the beach than we wanted to walk, but it was a very easy, quick drive. I was hoping to have some bikes so that we could use them to ride to the beach, but the bikes that were there were both inoperable as the both had flat tires. I really liked that the neighborhood is quiet and secluded. It provided an enjoyable evening stroll. I loved all of the flora and fauna to be found in the neighborhood.

I knew from my communication with Lesley before we arrived that we had chosen the right place to stay on our vacation! She was extremely accommodating and was quick to respond when we had questions. Great house layout!

We loved our stay at this house for the end of December. The layout was perfect so everyone could have their own space but then meet back in center of the house in the open floor plan for meals, hanging out and having fun. Heated pool and hot tub are a must for us in December as there can be some cold days and nights.

This was a perfect home in a perfect location for relaxing, privacy, beaching, & sight seeing. I couldn't have had a better experience with the home owner, and all was exactly as she said. Picture Perfect

This was our first experience renting with VRBO and we were delighted that the house was exactly as photographed and described. The layout of the house was perfect for our family. We had plenty of space to be together but also separate spaces so we didn't feel crowded. We loved the fact that the house felt secluded but was within minutes of Manasota Beach. It was a wonderful experience and we are looking forward to our next visit already.

Loved your stay

Very peaceful quiet getaway, just what we were looking for. Loved the house and layout, very bright and cheery. Everything we needed was there. Only negatives were chair cushions could be replaced and pool needs remarcited, tore up the bottom of my feet. Hope to visit again. Johnny and Suzanne

Lovely Spacious property, providing privacy and an ideal base to explore the area

We decided on a ā€œcoastalā€ visit to Florida (from the UK) this time, as an alternative to the hustle and bustle of Orlando and the theme parks. Initially we were concerned that the photos suggested the villa was bit secluded and ā€œoff the beaten trackā€. However, the house is lovely and spacious, provides privacy with neighbouring properties well spaced-out and would sleep 8 comfortably (there were 4 of us) with a nice pool and seating area outside along with all the comforts of home (TV, Wifi) including a decent kitchen and several different areas to sit and eat. We usually self-cater and were able to do so comfortably using the relevant shops in Venice rather than Englewood. The surrounding area is quiet and the locals are very friendly, although the sight of the Englishman puffing his way around a morning run in the heat and humidity bemused a few of them, The beach is walkable, but we found the walk across the bridge a little unnerving and drove most of the time. Watching the sunset, in the evening, on Manasota Key beach is beautiful and the other beaches are within easy reach (Red Tide permitting). We were also able to visit some of the attractions in Sarasota and Fort Myers, which were easily drivable. Lesley was really helpful with regard to questions and logistics relating to the villa to make our stay stress-free. Our only minor criticism would be that when the house is in constant use/rental, the tidying and cleaning could perhaps be a bit more thorough. We would have no hesitation in recommending the area and this property and weā€™d certainly like to visit again in the future
