Best Location in Manasota Key

This Beach cottage has a great location a few steps to the beach, shops and restaurants are very close by, I recommend the White Elephant a fun place with good music, drinks and food. The cottage was perfect for two people, very clean, the kitchen has everything you need. If you are looking to go to Manasota Key I highly recommend this cottage.

Quiet Escape in a Great Location

We had a lovely stay over New Years. The location is perfect to the beach and the beach itself was lovely. We walked to the state park, went shark teeth hunting, and walked to the local restaurants. The location is very relaxing and peaceful. We appreciate being able to bring our fur babies too, as they are part of our family. Next time we will bring our bikes now knowing how bike friendly Manasota Key is! The house had perfect accommodations for a family of 3 and the shed with nice quality beach chairs, toys, surf boards, etc. was a welcomed treat!

Pictures don't do it justice!

The property was beautiful! Even closer to the beach than i was expecting. Standing in the driveway you can see the ocean. The beach is fantastic, clean and barely anyone there. The key has amazing restaurants and lots of boat/kayak rentals, plus a great gift shop. The property itself exceeded expectations. It was extremely clean, there wasn't a single bug spotted inside our entire stay. The kitchen is well equipt with dishes, as well as kitchen basics (coffee, salt, pepper, etc). There were plenty of extra sheets, towels and blankets. All the furniture was comfortable and not outdated like I saw in another review. We greatly appreciated the old florida charm. Scott was an amazing host! He was very courteous, gave great directions and was very responsive with any questions we had. We came for our honeymoon and stayed 6 days. We will definitely be back!

Vacation on Manasota Key

Amazing!

The cottage was just as described. VERY short walk to the beach, Scott was very helpful and talked with us awhile the day after we arrived. We will definitely be staying here again!

Absolutely loved it!!!!

We stayed in the 1/1 bungalow, which is all we needed. Scott, the host came by the morning after we got there and he was super friendly and helpful! He even invited us in to show us the big house, which we will be booking next time when we bring grandkids down! Beatific area, neighborhood, and very shirt walk to quite beach where we found an abundance of shark teeth and shells! WE WILL BE COMING BACK! THANK YOU SCOTT!

Great Place to stay. Location location location

This is the second time we have stayed here. We love it. The place fits and suits our needs. It was clean, neat and stocked! The location is amazing. You would be hard pressed to find a better value. We will Be back again.

Beautiful property, very clean home, comfortable bed, A/C and fans work good. Beach was great, clear water and not crowded. Small but just right for 2 of us! Family staying in other rentals so we only had breakfast there. Wonderful time!

Beautiful Cottage in Paradise!

My husband and I spent a week at this cottage for our anniversary. Check in was easy and it was very clean and amply stocked with everything we needed for the week. Area is quiet and peaceful and we truly felt like we were in paradise. The owner was very nice and gracious and checked in with us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Would highly recommend this property and it’s adjoining unit. We will most definitely be returning. Thank you Scott for making our anniversary week such and wonderful and memorable experience!

Small cottage not clean

When we arrived we immediately noticed the smaller cottage we rented was not clean. The unit was left opened and key and lockbox were broken. Coffee grounds left in coffeemaker, floors were dirty, kitchen counter not wiped down, silverware not washed thoroughly. The couch that was to be used was old and when you pulled out the sleeper bed it was a old stained mattress full of sand and shells. It was not useable. The blinds in the bedroom are not private and you can see right in the room from the house right next door. I called owner and advised the unit was left opened key was broken and reported the dirtiness and that we could not stay in the unit and we would have to make other arrangements for a place to stay. He offered to bring a blow up mattress but sleeping on the floor was not an option since the floors looked like they haven’t been cleaned for awhile and as much money paid who wants to sleep on the floor on a blow up mattress. The unit does have an old cottage feel but a bit dingy which would be fine if it was cleaner and you like that vibe. . He did ask me the next day to advise him of the issues so he could discuss with his cleaning lady. I responded with the issues and asked if he could refund me for some of the stay. He did not respond after that. The large house seems to be the good reviews on this site. The small unit is the one that seems to get the bad reviews and most reviews I read were accurate of the smaller unit. This could be a decent place if the furniture was clean, unit was cleaner and a little brighter.

Very nice beach cottage

This cottage was perfect for our 4 night stay. Very close beach access; plenty of beach gear to use. Quiet, safe side street. Cottage had air conditioning that cooled the place quickly. The only negative we have is that the furniture is dated; couch was very uncomfortable to sit on. That would not stop us from staying there again, however.

What a fantastic little place. Everything you need, umbrella, chairs, cooler, beach towels... bring your suit and take a few steps to the sand and shore. Shark's teeth are just waiting to be found. This little house was comfortable, clean and very reasonable for a perfect much needed vacation. Thank You Scott for everything!

Older Property

This is obviously an older property that has been refurbished. Very clean but maintenance is could be a little better. Quiet neighborhood. Beach nearby but not in view as accurately represented in the description.

Great informal beach place

Excellent overall. Scott was easy to reach and very responsive to questions. Short walk to the beach and great sunsets a definite plus! Unit was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen.

Great beach cottage!
