"The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I was offered tea brought to my room on arrival. The bar was closed for one night of my stay, but I was advised the day beforehand. That wasn’t an issue at all. The location was great. Lovely local areas. Plenty of cafes and restaurants and walks nearby. Bus stop direct to the station right outside the hotel a real bonus! "Lovely room, helpful staff and super breakfast. Easy parking too. Only minor gripe was that the window didn't stay open and we had to prop it open with a toilet roll. The was a bit of an issue as the weather was unseasonable warm and there is no AC in the room. However, the staff did say this was already noted and action was being taken. This was our second stay at the hotel and we would certainly visit again."

"Interesting and understated small hotel in pleasant grounds. The room wasn't massive, but had a very comfortable bed and huge bathroom. Excellent breakfast and really helpful, friendly staff. Parking was fine and the hotel is a 10 minute walk to Sharrow Vale Road and Ecclesall Road, and 5 mins from the Botanical Gardens. Highly recommended."

"Very close to Sheffield railway station and easy to find. Check in (& out) was easy and quick. Room was ready well before time stated. The air conditioning was very welcome on a very hot day. Room clean and quiet. I liked that it had a bath but as the shower was over the bath this might be a problem for the less able as climbing into a bath can be difficult."

"AVOID! On arrival we got our keys from the keylock which was a simple process. When entering the apartment it completely stunk of cigs and w - as if people had been in there for days smoking. Even aside from the foul smell the place is very run down, lots of marks and stains on the walls etc. The glass hob surface had a large chip/crack on it which you could easily cut yourself of. I booked it thru Hotels.com app. It's my new go to app for travel related bookings after the poor treatment I got from Booking.con who refused me a refund on a booking that I couldn't use because the owner has changed the code on the key box and not updated this information on booking.con. "I have never had such good sleep outside my home. We had an excellent experience here. The location is perfect, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. Our room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials.
