Great Location
We enjoyed staying at this cabin! The location was close to everything! The cabin was immaculate and the refrigerator was larger than we had anticipated. Thanks to Bruce for a nice stay!

Comfy/Cozy A-Frame Log Cabin
This is a perfect place if you like the woods, rolling hills, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, beautiful small towns with quaint shops & restaurants, etc. This cabin is sizeable, perfect for 2 to 4 people. Very clean, nicely decorated, comfortable (& great TV/sound system), good location, everything we wanted. Thanks Bruce & Luna -- we love your place!

Fantastic property and experience!
We had a wonderful 4-night stay. The carriage house is super safe and very clean and comfortable for a small family like ours. We enjoyed private off street parking and access to a fishing pond (catch and release), bbq grill, and fire pit. Water pressure in the shower is good and the kitchen is equipped with all the basics. The property is centrally located to numerous beaches, golf, hiking trails, and restaurants. The property owner is a fantastic person who was easy to work with, as well. Definitely an excellent experience in every way.

The Epitome of Perfect Experience
This property/owner should be in your advertising. This is the exact reason people should chose listings like this as opposed to “corporate” hotels/locations. Host was super friendly and responsive. Property was beautiful, cozy, and impeccably cleaned. Being our first VRBO experience I am afraid Bruce (property owner) has set the bar too high for others. Bravo!!

Great stay!
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. The grounds were immaculate, and the setting very peaceful. Great location with an east drive to the dunes, several hikes, beaches and Empire, Glen Arbor and Traverse City. We met Bruce, the owner, one morning and he was very friendly and gave us suggestions for hiking, restaurants and beaches. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful stay
If you’re trying to decide if you should book this, absolutely do it !! My fiancé and I stayed for a long weekend and this little cabin was perfect!! It felt very private and had an absolutely stunning view of the lake that we could not stop staring at. The details from the lamps to the wooden stools, the dimmable lighting, it was too cute. We met Bruce and his grandson briefly as we packed up to leave and they were very sweet. We absolutely hope to go back again!! Thanks for a wonderful weekend! (Also we went in the fall and the colors over the lake are unmatched, absolutely beautiful!)

Beautiful, cozy carriage house
This property is just beautiful! Very welcoming and clean. The grounds are nicely groomed and the host provides access to areas and amenities that make you feel like you are at a home away from home. Very peaceful and relaxing! We highly recommend!

Perfect Stay
The VRBO is very clean and the property is beautiful. The location was perfect for our days exploring the area. This is a great place for an unplugged vacation. Bruce was easy to communicate with and offered some great suggestions for our time. We hope to return.

Beautiful Property
We really enjoyed staying at this property and hope to come back again someday. It is absolutely beautiful. My kids loved watching the dozens of frogs from the dock and I loved sneaking peaceful mornings / evenings on the dock. The cabin was nice and as described. My only thing to note is that as the listing says it is a small fridge. It is very small if you are trying to store a week’s worth of groceries. The owner was so kind and gave great suggestions for exploring the area. There is so much explore nearby!

Beautiful Property
The property was gorgeous inside and out and was also very clean. The small lake behind the property was such a beautiful piece of nature. I loved to sit near it and listen to all of the birds and wildlife. Loved being just a short drive from sleeping bear dunes and also Traverse City. Can’t wait to go back!

Quiet get away
Perfect place for a quiet weekend. Check in very easy. House was very clean, stocked with clean linens, dishes. Beautiful lake to sit by in the evenings. Would definitely stay again.

My friend and I were there for a fishing trip at traverse City Bay. My wife saw this amazing cabin on vrbo. The original trip was selected go in 2020 but canceled due to covid and the experience with the manager of the property was so helpful during that time that we had to cancel. We made arrangements again for this year and the cabin was better than I expected. It had everything that we needed and more. The manager offered for us to be able to use the pond on his property which was next to his property and I would call that pond a small lake. Everything about our experience at this cabin was amazing and we hope to plan to do it again in a couple years.

Anniversary Getaway
Bruce was a wonderful host and the coach house was perfect for our unplugged anniversary. We hiked Sleeping Bear (saw real bear tracks) and came back to the cozy cabin to get ready for a night out in Traverse City. Perfect for us! We will be back.

1st anniversary getaway
Bruce has the best VRBO ever!!! We were very happy to have been able to spend our anniversary there. Everything was perfect for us during our stay. Bruce even had fresh flowers and soft music playing for us when we checked in. The place is centrally located to NW Michigan's grand sights and attractions. Also nice to just stay there and enjoy all the nature of the property. The stars were amazing to see with no light pollution, the fall colors and the wildlife lake were all so beautiful. We fell in love with this place and are looking forward to our next stay the woods. Thank you Bruce for accommodating our requests it was like a little slice of heaven. Pride of ownership here!

Great Weekend Getaway!
The carriage house was perfect for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids, age 7 & 12). It had everything we needed and was situated perfectly for our day trips. Fishing dock and the property was beautiful!

Perfect getaway
We had a wonderful time staying in the coachhouse. When we walked in, we instantly said “it’s perfect.” It had everything we needed to cook dinners and other meals. Nice small lake out back for fishing, fire pit for roasting hot dogs and s’mores. And it was so close to everything. We went to multiple beautiful beaches, sand dunes, etc. best of all, the owner who lives in the main house next door, Bruce, was very friendly and helpful, and gave us tips to get to the best beaches! We will definitely be staying there again!

Empire Beach
Bruce is extremely friendly and accommodating. His cabin is spotless, peaceful, relaxing and very close to our favorite beach, which is Empire. Also, not far from Traverse City. We had a great time and plan to stay here again.

We loved the cabin!!!
My husband, two teenage sons, and I stayed at Bruce’s beautiful cabin from Wed-Sun! It was absolutely perfect! The beds were comfortable, the cabin extremely clean, and everything we needed for making meals was provided. It was also perfectly located among other little towns.

Great stay!
The cabin was the perfect spot for our trip! It made for a quiet get away but we were also able to enjoy time in traverse city and exploring the dunes since they were only a short drive away. The cabin itself was very nice and clean and had everything we needed! Would highly recommend!

Beautiful cabin on a gorgeous property.
Bruce goes beyond the average manager to make your stay memorable. The coach house with the lovely lake behind it is so perfect for a relaxing stay. I am a birder and was thrilled with Bruce's birdhouses and the many species of birds around the lake. The proximity to the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore made hiking and birding very easy. Our entire stay was a joy.

Cabin in the cloud !
From the time we entered the driveway which was immaculate and beautiful, we had an amazing experience at the cabin. The host was very friendly and showed us the interior and welcomed us. Morning coffee by the lake and evening fire pit was really relaxing. Very peaceful location. This cabin is a gem !

Perfect guest cabin for a weekend getaway!
Bruce’s property is stunning and the cabin was spotless. It was the perfect place for a few friends to stay after enjoying the National Lakeshore and Traverse City during the day. Bruce was welcoming with recommendations and very welcoming. We would definitely recommend this property!
