"I really loved my stay at this property. The rooms were bigger and designed better than many others I have stayed at. The bathrooms were especially sound proof, I love to not hear what other people are doing in there!!! The staff was so friendly and competent. The rooms were easily accessible from the parking lot. The grounds were well maintained. But my favorite part was the decor in the halls and rooms. Delightfully dated in an upgraded, clean, and well maintained interior. Original 60's...

"Clean if old room. Heating/cooling loud and inconsistent. Room ran too hot then too cold etc. had good shower soap and shampoo which was really nice. Did not hear road or traffic sounds. Convenient for our purposes. I would stay again. "

"Just a block from the Shakespeare Festival, this hotel is ideally located. Room was clean as were common areas. Chairs in the room were cute, but could use some stuffing. Breakfast was good deal at $5…a step up from chain hotel breakfasts. "

"Yes, the woman who was in charge was continually adding more hot food, filling up platters, and pleasantly chatting with us guests. When I’d asked about a water fountain, she offered to fill my containers, even adding ice. The woman at the front desk answered all questions, and agreed to move us to a room closer to our relatives. Some rooms were better situated like my sister’s in 231 (?) which had a couch and a bright view. Very approachable snd accommodating. Thank you."

"The hotel was a convenient location right off the freeway. There’s also a nice restaurant next-door so it was nice to be able to just park, check-in and get some food after a long day of travel. The manager upgraded me to a king size bed at no additional cost. The room was clean. Not a lot of amenities but a great price for what you got."

"breakfast bar was lacking bread or muffins. And there was no yogurt. Coffee was not as good as in the past. There were more options in the past. The improvement in the handles in the shower are great. "

"This is a nicely restored vintage motel. The rooms are styled midcentury but with modern appliances and fixtures. They are also clean. I recommend it for anyone looking for a unique travel experience other than the big chain hotels and motels. The location is a little under 1 mile from the Oregon Shakespearian Festival so walkable for some."
