Beautiful

Beautiful place. Had everything we needed. Slept 4 comfortably. Host was very helpful and informative. He prefers to talk rather than text. Communications from VRBO/evolve had multiple phone numbers so that was a little confusing. Location was great, easy to get to Bozeman and Yellowstone. The grill didnt work, perhaps it was just out of propane. Otherwise we loved our stay and had a wonderful vacation.

We loved our stay in Emigrant! Halfway between Livingston and Gardiner, we found it conveniently located. The view is amazing and house is nicely laid out. The owners were proactive in communicating with us and had some good recommendations for our stay. We found it to be exactly what we had hoped for.

Great spot

This property is the perfect location to visit Yellowstone, Livingston, Bozeman. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of room for the four of us. The shower is small and difficult to shave. The blinds should be blackout rather than filtering as that would help keep it cooler. It does get hot and difficult to cool down when the temps are near 90. The windows help, but the house is very near a fairly busy road, so it can be noisy during the day. The river is across this road. Other than this is a great location.

This was a great cabin! Clean, spacious enough for 2 adults 2 teens. The check in was super easy. Great communication with the host and property manager. Walking distance to the Yellowstone river. Watched the deer from the bedroom every morning with coffee. Highly recommend!

Great cabin, a few upgrades needed perhaps

My husband and I spent over two weeks at this cabin and we were very comfortable: the house is very cozy and nicely decorated, a great location about half-way between Livingston and Yellowstone Nat'l Park. The property is very quiet, right along the river, and very close to the Old Saloon, Follow Yer Nose BBQ, and the Wildwood Bakery: you must go to all three of these:: excellent food, drinks, overall vibe. To note: the water in the cabin is **very** hard. Now, I've lived on well water before, but this was very, very hard water. The iron smell coming from the taps is quite noticeable, and while it was great having laundry in the cabin, some of our whites were actually stained orange in the wash. So the mineral (iron?) content is quite high. I recommend buying jugs of water for drinking and cooking. There was only one floor fan in the cabin, and the temps were in the 90s for much of our stay; another floor fan would have been nice. The living room and main bed room have *beautiful* pane-glass picture windows (with fantastic view of Emigrant Peak), but they do not open, so those rooms do get hot in afternoon/evening (in the summer). A binder with local points of interest, numbers to call etc.. would be helpful (this is a typical thing in Vrbo and other type rentals), although the owner, Ken, called before our check-in and gave us a few suggestions as to what's in the area. It was just the two of us here, but this cabin could easily and comfortably house four people. If you're driving in, bring: water, fans, throw pillows for the sofa (there were none), binoculars. The WiFi is good and the water pressure is good too.

Great Location

We had 4 of us staying here and had a great time. The location is perfect and the property is very nice. It could stand a few upgrades but overall we had a great experience. The owner was great to deal with as well!!

Came for a friends getaway and we didn't want to leave. The place was beautiful. If you chose to stay. We highly recommend Follow Yer Nose BBQ. This little cabin was in the middle of all of out outings. Highly recommended

I thought this was a little far for daily treks to Yellowstone. It was nice to get away from crowded areas, enjoy the mountain views, let the kids play. Horses on adjoining pasture were a highlight for them. Host (Ken) was helpful with advice on nearby hikes. One of them (Pike creek trail) was better than most Yellowstone hikes and just a few miles away.

Great Home Base for MT Adventures

Great cabin in a friendly little dot on the map in Emigrant, MT. Located in Paradise Valley this cabin was close to all of the rivers and creeks we wanted to fly fish during our stay. A 20 minute drive to Livingston and 40 minutes to the entry of Yellowstone. The small neighborhood of Emigrant had everything we needed with a friendly collection of people. Breakfast at the Wildflour Bakery, Dinner at Follow Yer Nose BBQ, and a cold beer at the Old Saloon. The shower was spotty at times due to air in the lines from the old well, but the owner let us know of this ahead of time. It was not a problem at all and something he said they would be fixing during their next stay. We would, and hope to, absolutely stay here again.

Lovely Cabin near Yellowstone

Ideally located! 30 minutes from the North entrance of Yellowstone. Quaint and comfy cabin on the Yellowstone River. Beautiful views of the mountains and plains. We loved our stay and would definitely return!

Perfect Location

The owner was great, the house was clean, the location is perfect, and it has a beautiful view of Emigrant Peak. My family and I stayed here for a week and we wish we could have stayed longer. The area is peaceful, quiet, yet has a lot going on. We enjoyed Wild Flour Cafe and Bakery, Follow Yer Nose BBQ, dinner at Livery Stable, drinks at Emigrant Outpost, and a soak at Chico Hot Springs. We hiked at Pine Creek and Pebble creek which was beautiful. We enjoyed 3 days in Yellowstone which is only 30 minutes to the North Entrance. We took a drive to Bozeman (50 minuets) for the day and spent some time in Livingston (25 minutes) visiting family. For us, Emigrant was the perfect base to really enjoy Paradise Valley. I definitely recommend staying at this property. I enjoyed talking to Ken, the owner, prior to our arrival. Ken was able to suggest some great ideas that we did take advantage of. We canā€™t wait to come back to Paradise Valley again! Thanks for everything Ken.

Gate to Yellowstone

I chose this property based to its relative location to Yellowstone park. I hate to live out of a hotel for more than a couple of days. This worked out perfectly. I brought a fly rod with me to give it a go and found plenty of opportunities within a walk or a short drive. Chico Hot Springs is 3 miles away and worth a stop. For $20 you get a dip in the pool and a few cocktails. Hard to beat. Great for a couple and a couple of kids. The single beds in bedroom 2 are a challenge for adults. Had a great time.

Wonderful stay in Emigrant!

This house is adorable! The view simply cannot be beat. Very close to the Yellowstone River with easy access to rafting and fishing. The drive to YNP is filled with spectacular scenery. We enjoyed watching the horses and eating barbecue across the street. We would most definitely stay here again!

Perfect secluded cabin!

Ken was an amazing host. Took the time to speak with me prior to our stay. Just as described. We had 5 horses and 2 bunnies great us upon arrival. Very clean and organized. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. If you forgot something the Emigrant General Store located 5 seconds away has everything you would need. 3 minute ride to Chico Hot Springs which was a hit with our kids. They have pool side food and drinks as well as live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Super cute gift store as well. Peaceful quiet location. We saw deer, bald eagles and osprey right from the property. Coffee on the patio was serene. 25 minutes to the North Entrance for Yellowstone. Nice to be able to leave the crowds at Yellowstone to come back to the peace and quiet of the cabin. Thank you for sharing your property with us Ken!

Amazing views

This cabin was perfect for our 10 day stay. It was well organized and provided everything we needed. It was spotless! The views are simply spectacular. We enjoyed the easy access to Chico Hot Springs, Emigrant, Livingston, and Yellowstone Park. We had a wonderful stay, and would return to this property in a heartbeat.

Enjoyed our stay!

Lovely location! My son was fishing the Yellowstone River every night after exploring the area all day. Loved the quaint town of Emigrant. Great food and friendly people. There was some air in the water lines but other than that the house was charming, clean, comfortable and perfect for our family of four. Comfy beds, soft linens, stocked kitchen and great patio area to hang out. View of the mountains was spectacular!

Our family loved this cabin! Easy access to Yellowstone, and very close to Chico Hot Springs. Ken had great suggestions for local places to stop, and was helpful with anything we could need. The cabin was stocked with everything we could need, even a couple items we forgot!
