New! Tucked off a scenic dirt road in Paradise Valley, this dog-friendly cabin is made for slowing down. Curl up by the gas fireplace with a book from the curated library, or gather around the fire pit under wide Montana skies. With a fully equipped kitchen, two workstations, and high-speed internet, it’s easy to blend quiet mountain retreat with modern comfort in this newly constructed cabin that is 15 minutes to dining, 45 to Yellowstone.

We live next door (out of sight from the cabin), and we're happy to chat and help out in any way, but we also give guests their space to enjoy this little piece of a paradise. The cabin is in a quiet mountain neighborhood on a scenic dirt road in the heart of Paradise Valley. Enjoy peace, privacy, and the freedom of these wide-open Montana spaces while still being just 15 minutes from local restaurants, watering holes, and the general store. Outdoor adventures abound—hiking trails, Yellowstone River access, fishing, multiple hot springs, and Yellowstone’ National Park's north entrance are all within 45 minutes, as is the artsy cowboy town of Livingston, with its impressive array of restaurants and bars, 2 excellent breweries, and lots of local shopping. During the winter months, the north entrance to Yellowstone Park is the only drivable entrance--leading to great skiing, snowshoeing, and wildlife viewing.
Guests have access to the full house, with the exception of one locked supply closet.
Park in the driveway and use the keyless entry door. Code will be provided by host prior to arrival.
KITCHEN: Designed for both slow mornings and lively dinners, you’ll find a full-size refrigerator and oven range, dishwasher, a Cuisinart combo (drip & pods) coffee maker, French press, electric kettle, blender, and toaster—alongside sharp knives, quality cookware, and all the essentials for prepping everything from pancakes to post-hike feasts. We’ve stocked the shelves with locally roasted coffee, teas, olive oil, spices, and a few thoughtful extras to make cooking here feel easy. Our bar includes a shaker, champagne bucket, and plenty of glassware. There are four stools at the counter for seating, plus a round dining table that seats 4-6.
LIVING AREA: Sink in and stay awhile. A leather sofa and recliner offer the perfect spot to unwind with a book, sip wine, or map out tomorrow’s adventure. You’ll find a curated selection of books, games, a record collection, and a smart TV with streaming options—plus Wi-Fi if you need to check in with the outside world. A gas stove adds warmth and glow on cooler days and evenings.
BEDROOM 1: Framed by large windows, this is your sanctuary. Sink into a queen bed with crisp linens and a plush duvet. Enjoy your own ensuite bathroom with heated floors and a walk-in shower. Whether you're reading in bed with the breeze drifting through, writing at the desk, or watching the light shift across the mountains, this space was made for slowing down. The corner chair folds out into a twin bed for extra sleeping arrangements or a perfect reading spot.

BEDROOM 2: Stretch out in the queen bed or settle into the twin pullout chair—perfect for an extra guest or a lazy afternoon nap. The built-in reading nook offers a quiet perch for flipping through a book or watching the light shift across the hills. Whether you’re sharing the space with a friend or claiming it for yourself, this room gives you room to relax, recharge, and feel at home.
BATH 2: Heated tile floors, large walk-in shower, towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, and amenities. This room also holds a washer/dryer with detergent.
OUTSIDE: The front patio includes a large Weber grill, and patio seating. Our backyard hangout features perennial gardens, Adirondack chairs, and a gas fire pit, with outdoor lighting to set the mood. Perfect for our cool mountain evenings. A very tiny creek runs through the aspens, and a large meadow runs from the cabin down to the dirt road.
Rural location is only accessible by car. Rental vehicles are available locally and at the airport. You are responsible for having proper vehicles and tires. We require all-wheel-drive/4-wheel drive October through April (and honestly, it’s recommended all the time.) You don't need a super high-clearance vehicle, but a Mustang might not fare well.
DOGS WELCOME:
We love furry friends! We supply couch cover, extra dog blankets, a dog bed, and bowls, and other amenities. Pet fee & pet agreement apply and allow for up to 3 dogs. No cats or other types of animals. There is a $200 fee for bringing an unannounced pet. Please ensure all pet waste is picked up. Do not allow dogs to roam the property unattended. Dogs should not be left alone in the cabin unless they are kenneled. (We can loan you a crate if needed.)
SMOKING:
No smoking or vaping on the property.
SECLUSION:
The cabin is tucked off a well-maintained scenic dirt road. Plowed regularly in the winter. All-wheel drive recommended year-round and required from October - April. The road in includes 4 miles of gravel road. We have a plow truck and keep the driveway plowed after any significant snow accumulation (weekdays, this will may be in the early morning or the evening due to our work schedules). Shoveling a walkway to the house will be completed the day of checkin, but shoveling is not provided mid-stay. We do provide a shovel.

LOCAL TIPS:
15 minutes to the nearest general store and restaurants. Yellowstone’s north entrance is 45 minutes away. Hiking, hot springs, and river and fishing adventures are nearby—ask us for our favorite hidden gems! Our quiet road offers excellent walking, running, and biking opportunities with incredible views of the mountains.
FIRE SAFETY
Fire pit and gas fireplace are ready for cozy evenings—please follow all safety instructions. No wood fires or fireworks.
WILDLIFE:
The cabin has ample wildlife viewing opportunities. You may see deer, elk, fox, bear, marmots, coyotes or even an elusive mountain lion. There will be insects and other creatures. (We recommend keeping doors closed & screens in place to keep insects out of the cabin. Please maintain a safe distance, do not feed animals and keep all food secured. If recreating outdoors in this region of Montana, we recommend bringing bear spray. (We have a few cans available to borrow.)
YOUR HOSTS: this cabin is locally owned and we live nearby. We love giving personal recommendations - so don't hesitate to ask us for local tips.
PARKING: : Easy parking for 4+ cars. (Additional parking, including for trailers and RVs can be arranged; we might need to mow in a little bit in the field.)
Renter is responsible for any damage done to the property.

The owners are not responsible for loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest.
