The Emerald cottage is a charming, fully renovated 1950s beach cottage one block to the beach! Hear ocean waves from the master bedroom w/ a queen bed, en-suite bath & claw foot tub. Enjoy your morning coffee on the private deck or gather together in the open living area. Thereā€™s a hall bath & guest bedroom with desk area too! Unique & cozy, this cottage has it all with modern amenities, family fun, bikes a fire-pit, hot tub, a 3 minute walk to the beach access at the end of both streets on either side of the cottage! Itā€™s pet friendly & close to city center!

There are 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with an outdoor shower as well, to clean off after the fun beach days! The master bedroom en suite has a queen bed with clawfoot tub, water closet, pedestal sink and closet. The hall bath is next to the guest bedroom that has a double bed with a closet and a desk area to work from home. Call bathhouse a tile shower, toilet and sink. The stackable washer and dryer are in the hallway next to the bathroom for your convenience while staying in the cottage. The cottage is fully renovated with all new appliances. There are TVs in both bedrooms and a large TV in the living room for those cozy movie nights together. Private backyard with outdoor seating for your morning coffee or grill dinner on the deck, and a hot tub for relaxing and the firepit for fun cozy nights! And with tons of beach gear for all the beach days and bikes, exploring is a breeze! Public beach access is just down the block so the walk is about 3 minutes. What more could you ask for!

Cozy Fall Visit

My family travels to the area fairly often and we do enjoyed our time in this cozy home; itā€™s very close to public beach access for walking and otherwise close to the beach-y visitor attractions :) The house itself is adorable, cozy, and enjoyable to stay in. Communication was great, too!

Perfect Beach Getaway!

I enjoyed my stay at this darling beach home. Itā€™s so quaint and has every you need. Decor was done so nicely! Beach supplies available and fire pit in the yard looked great but rainy days made it difficult for me to use. Walk to beach in less than 5 min. Great area to bike and take long walks. I would love to return!!

My family had an excellent long weekend here. The cottage is so cozy and sweet. Just a short walk to the beach, while still feeling very private. Family Stay

We had a great stay at the cottage with our three children and dogs. There was plenty of sleeping room for everyone. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for the week. I loved that the shed had all the beach essentials: wagon, chairs, beach umbrella so I didn't need to buy and hall those items with us :)

The Emerald Cottage is beautifully appointed, masterfully renovated, and perfectly located for a quiet getaway to the Emerald Isle area. The 2BR/2BA layout has ample privacy and plenty of room for a small family or even two couples (and a pet!). Weā€™ll be back!

Lovely Emerald Isle Cottage

Cottage was nice and cozy and short walk to beach. On-site in utility shed, they provide a beach wagon, chairs, umbrella and bikes all very useful during our stay. Stacy was very attentive to our needs during our stay. Thank you Stacy ;).

Quaint Cottage

Stacy was a fantastic host. She was very helpful with navigating the area and any questions we had. The cottage was perfect for myself, hubby and fur baby. Very well stocked. The beach wagon was a great for caring all our beach stuff to ocean. We had a fire in the firepit and relaxed in the hot tub. We will be returning!! Emerald Isle is now our favorite beach! Cheers! Stunningly clean and beautiful cottage

We absolutely loved staying in this beautiful, clean, meticulously decorated cottage with our small family and dog. The pictures were all extremely accurate, and Stacie was a joy to communicate with as well as in providing excellent recommendations during our stay. We hope to return as a family!

Lovely, clean and bright cottage.

The cottage is set on the main road but offers privacy by way of tall shrubbery in front and back and noise was not an issue. it is very clean, light, and tastefully decorated with a distressed ocean theme. A bottle of wine was awaiting on the table when I arrived. Bathrooms were clean and kitchen was well appointed. There is a nice front porch and deck in the back of the house and a fire pit. Host was available for any questions and easy to work with. Pets allowed! We will definitely book again if possible.

Best for couples or a single traveler

Cons: -Despite being cute, the shower in the master bedroom was not very functional for us, so we used the shower in the second bathroom instead. For parties of more than two, this could be an issue. Even for a small person, it is pretty tight. A frameless glass door instead of a shower curtain might open up the space some. -Our older dog had difficulty navigating the yard because it was unmaintained, and she repeatedly fell into the weeds. This caused her to get a tick that she passed on to my husband. -The outside shower could be more functional if a platform or concrete slab was built so that you don't have to use it in the dirt. -A cockroach was spotted in the master bedroom the night before we checked out. Despite our efforts, it always retreated into the gaps between the shiplap, so we were not able to catch it. -The hot tub was dirty. The host said someone would come to clean it, but that did not happen until the morning we checked out. -For less than we paid for four nights, we could have rented a larger, newer home closer to the beach for an entire week. Pros: -The home was clean and the pictures were accurate. -The decor is very cute and matches the 1950s theme. -The host provided many wonderful recommendations for nearby places to eat and things to do. These could be compiled into a binder and left for guests at check-in. -In the shed, there were beach gear and bikes that were helpful. -The location was good and close to a walking trail and the beach.

Great spot with flexible scheduling

Very cute and cozy with a well-appointed kitchen. It was great to have flexibility to reserve according to our schedule which didnā€™t work for the whole week. Quick walk to a great section of the beach. Best interior design of any beach rental weā€™ve ever had!
