"The Cottage on the Kennebec is exactly as advertised. We explored the area (Houston Brook Falls, Moxie Falls, and Jackman Trading Post are highly recommended!), but spent a lot of time just enjoying the property kayaking, grilling, sitting by the river, playing games, and using the fire pit. Mike and Kim were very friendly and made us feel welcome while respecting our privacy."

"We had a wonderful time at the cabin! Plenty of room for our family (us parents and our three teenagers) to spread out, and we had everything we needed to make our own meals in the kitchen. Loved sitting on the porch in the morning with our tea and watching the world wake up! Excellent home base for white water rafting in the area - would stay here again."

"We had a wonderful stay during school vacation week. We planned to ski all week, but weather had other plans and closed all the lifts, so we had a lot of extra time at the house. We lost electricity and they were out within 45 minutes to hook up the generator for us. Owner/Mgmt company was super responsive to any messages sent. "Blake’s cabin was an amazing place! Check in was easy and it was just what my family needed on our travels. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with what we needed to make a good breakfast. Appreciated the use of the charcoal grill with a propane option as well. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Perhaps we will get to do that on the next trip. I could lay on that dock observing wildlife for days!"
