The Space
Enjoy the tranquility of the woods at this cozy 3-bedroom, 2-bath Lakes of the North cabin. Relax in the private outdoor hot tub year-round or stay cool with central air. Minutes from golf, biking, hiking trails, and downtown Gaylord’s Alpine Village. Perfect for BBQs on the deck, stargazing by the fire pit, or spotting the Northern Lights.

Fully equipped with dining for 6 plus bar seating for 4. Includes modern appliances, cookware, bakeware, utensils, spices, dishware, flatware, and kitchen towels.

Association Amenities
Trails for walking, biking, ATV, and snowmobiling. Outdoor heated pool (Memorial–Labor Day), courts for basketball, pickleball, tennis, volleyball, playground, golf nearby, ski hills, and DNR snowmobile trails. Clubhouse with indoor pool, hot tub, water slides, and kids’ shallow end (advance setup required, typically $10/person/day). Pool open daily except Tuesdays.

Winter Activities
Snowmobile from cabin to DNR trails, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, nearby ski hills. Gaylord averages 180+ inches of snow—perfect for winter sports. 4WD/AWD recommended.

Spring, Summer & Fall
Pickle-ball, basketball, playgrounds, hiking, biking, wildlife viewing (elk, birds). Nearby excursions: mushroom hunting, Traverse City (45 min), Petoskey (35 min), Mackinaw City (<1 hr), Boyne Mountain (25 min). Gaylord town: shopping, restaurants, theater, Sports-plex, mini-golf, go-karts, museums.

Additional Notes

Cabin is private; nature may wander in—please close doors & sliders.
Roads are maintained; winter guests advised to use caution and use provided rock salt/shovels while staying and we recommend 4WD/AWD vehicles in the cold/winter months.

Indoor Clubhouse Pool (all year): Includes hot tub & lazy river. Must be arranged in advance. Small fee applies (paid on-site). Open daily (except Tues) hours may change. Community amenities, such as the Clubhouse and pools are operated by a third-party and are not guaranteed. Availability closures or policy changes are outside the hosts Control. No refunds are issued for third-party amenity closures. Please note the Clubhouse is closed on Tuesdays (indoor pool) Early access and late checkouts at cabin need to be set up in advance, please ask!
