Please be aware, at this cabin due to restrictions in the subdivision, there is a strict NO MOTORCYCLE/NO TRAILER/NO EXCEPTIONS Policy in place. If you bring a motorcycle or Trailer to this location, they may be towed at your expense or you may be asked to leave the community. At Blue Sky Cabin Rentals we do offer other properties that are motorcycle and trailer friendly so please let us know if you will be bringing either and we will be happy to send you quotes for other options.

New to Blue Sky Cabin Rentals August 2019 is Romance On The Cartecay River, a peacefully chic cabin nestled on a hill above the gently flowing waters of the Cartecay River. There are approximately 15 steps from the parking area that you will travel down to reach the cabin. The light streaming through the leaves paints patches of sunshine on your path as the Cartecay River tempts you to walk on down to it's cool, clear water. As you pass the fire pit, you look forward to the coming dusk and fantasize about a cozy fire with your loved with gentle river sounds intertwined in your conversation. The magical walk down to the cabin has your expectations high for what awaits you through the door.
Modern furnishings in neutral tones blend seamlessly with the backdrop of the forest you see through the wall of windows. Comfortable pillows on the sofa add to the soothing atmosphere. You can snuggle together to watch a show or stretch out with a book in the living room. The dining area is just off of the kitchen. Beyond the dining area is the master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. There is a shared bathroom on the far side of the kitchen. Upstairs you will find an open loft with a bed and a daybed under skylights. The abundance of windows in the cabin creates a bright and cheery ambiance that is sometimes hard to find in a cabin.
On the screened-in main level deck, you will find an outdoor eating area where you can enjoy a meal, a glass of wine, or a game of cards. On the terrace level deck, you have access to the game room with Foosball, chess, and a lounging area, with lovely views of the Cartecay River. The terrace level deck is also where you will find the hot tub and covered swing.
Once you have your bags in the cabin and have had time to explore, why not walk down the path on the side of the cabin to the multi-level decks and quench your desire to step into the Cartecay River. There are approximately 45 steps and landings that will take you down to the river from the side of the cabin. Just beyond the detached dock, there is a bank that you can use to slip your feet in the water. The current is gentle here unless we have had a storm in our area.
This beautiful cabin and area provide the perfect romantic escape with many features to enjoy. Located 5 minutes from R and A Orchards, and 10 minutes from Ellijay River Outfitters for tube and kayak fun!

All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following unless otherwise stated in the listing:

Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans. Linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1-washcloth per person listed on guest list, dresser or closet for clothing storage, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum and/or broom and dustpan, mop, internet, and propane gas grill. In addition, we provide a complimentary start-up supply of Toilet Tissue (1 roll per bathroom), 1- roll paper towels, 4- kitchen garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing liquid and laundry detergent for at least 2 loads. Many of our cabins include more than this basic list of inventory items. The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.
