Lake Front Cabin - Very Secluded...Serenity lives here!

Enjoy your stay at our home away from home. Designed to make our guests feel comfortable while offering everything you need for nice weekend getaway. Enjoy the view of the lake while grilling on the patio. Snuggle up by the fireplace while enjoying a movie on the DVD player or log into your own streaming services on the provided Roku. Appreciate the seclusion but don’t miss what’s going on back home by using our WIFI or use Verizon cell service (ATT a little spotty). Just walk down to the lake and cast a line to enjoy private fishing on 6 acres of land, fish from the shore or take out the jon boat to explore the lake, go for a hike or head to town to explore the shops. Downtown Ellijay is just a short 7 miles drive down the mountain.

This cabin features 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, with a bedroom (queen size bed) on the main level, and the loft bedroom that has 2 full beds. The living room also offers a full-size sofa bed and 2 comfy recliners. Stay warm or cool with the luxury of central heat & air. A full kitchen with all the amenities for your cooking needs and a deck with a large charcoal grill overlooks the lake. Enjoy roasting marshmallows around the firepit or relax in a hammock while enjoying the sounds of nature....that's all you will hear out here! Also, a washer & dryer for all of your laundry essentials. What a great place for a little peace and quiet! (please note that there are two exterior security cameras monitoring the gate and well area)

The lake view is so serene and relaxing. The road to the area is gravel and steep in places However it is very well maintained which made it easy to drive. The staff for the rental were great and easy to work with.

My wife and I recently experienced the heartbreaking loss of our baby, and we decided we needed to get away — to find a quiet place where we could breathe, rest, and begin to heal. This cabin in Ellijay was exactly what our hearts needed.From the moment we arrived, we felt wrapped in peace. The views were breathtaking, the air was fresh and still, and the sound of the wind through the trees brought a kind of calm we hadn’t felt in weeks. Every corner of the cabin was thoughtfully designed — cozy, clean, and full of warmth. Sitting by the fire, listening to the rain on the roof, or watching the sunrise from the porch gave us moments of reflection and comfort we’ll never forget.We came here hurting, but we left with lighter hearts and a sense of peace we didn’t think we could find again so soon. We’re deeply grateful for this space and the quiet healing it offered us.Thank you for creating such a beautiful, restful place — it truly made a difference in our lives.

Very secluded! Almost scary secluded! The lake is beautiful and very peaceful! The cabin was musty smelling even though it was recently used. Our stay was okay, but the pictures are nicer than in person. We had a clean but badly stained towel that shouldn’t be used anymore. Bed was hard and not very comfortable/cozy. ALL fees are NOT included which is disappointing (why isn’t required insurance included or mentioned prior to booking?) and the owner took days to reply to me with a message that included xxx-xxx-xxxx for their contact number. Our stay was fine and my husband got to go fishing, but we’re happy to be home!

Love the secluded area. Would have been even better if brush/shrubbery was more cleared out of the area directly surrounding house. Would have been nice if someone would have went and cleaned up outside area where the fire place, chairs, hammock etc. is for our arrival. The cabin itself was very clean and charming. It did not cool off well though, was very thankful to find an oscillating fan. Satisfied for price. Amazing hiking nearby and so many cute/fun markets, orchards, pumpkin patches etc. nearby. Cool memorial park really close too! We’d love to come back again sometime.

Mountain Seclusion

If you are looking for solitude, you found it here! The cabin is way off the beaten path, so make sure your vehicle can take gravel and rough terrain. The cabin itself was clean and well maintained. I went specifically for a little fishing at the lake but was disappointed with the lack of accessible shoreline. We got a few bites but didn't catch anything. We couldn't find the remote that worked the living room TV, but it was not a major issue, and we did not try to contact the owner. We played cards instead!! Overall, a wonderful location and experience.

Great secluded retreat

We appreciated being able to stay in this cabin. If you are looking for seclusion, it's here! The kitchen was well appointed, and there would be plenty of space for 4-6 people throughout the cabin.The place came stocked with firewood, including kindling which was great because it rained, and plenty of fishing supplies that I didn't get to use unfortunately. The gravel road to the property could be hard to get down with low clearance, and could be rough if conditions are icy. We had a front wheel drive SUV that handled it no problem, even with a ton of rain.

Definitely A Cabin In The Woods

The road was very tricky . We were in a small suv and almost got stuck. Do not take a car. Road is better equipped for a 4wd. The stairs are very steep and our knees banged against the stairs going up. We stayed on the lower level due to afraid of slipping and getting injured. The cabin was very clean. Even though it will fit 7 people, not ideal because if one bathroom. Make sure you bring enough paper towels and bathroom tissue. Once you arrive at the cabin you will not want to leave.

Cabin in the woods

The cabin was great. Nice view of lake from the porch and we enjoyed the fire pit. The gate lock to the property was very difficult to manage, had to lift up the gate to close and bang on the bottom of the lock to re-lock it. The path to the lake was somewhat treacherous for seniors. I think a stairway should be installed to get to the lake.Also, called and texted property manager to ask a question and never got a response. Despite the above issues, we really loved the cabin.

Perfectly secluded

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. It was absolutely perfect for a quiet, peaceful, low key weekend away from everyone and everything. The seclusion was exactly what we wanted! I will add that I'm happy my vehicle is all wheel drive, because the gravel road to get to the cabin is a bit intense.
