This place was perfect! Not far from grocery stores, hiking or shopping although you may never want to leave. We came for a long weekend and aside from hiking 1 trail and a grocery store run we didn’t leave. We did eat dinner at the pink pig too which was wonderful. The cabin was clean and well equipped. You name it they had it. My kids absolutely loved the dart boards and ping pong table. My oldest (12) loved kayaking and fishing. We caught quite a few and saw some turtles as well. We are from Florida so this was the perfect getaway and we didn't have to worry about gators. Some other great perks were all the outdoor seating and the hot tub. The baby gates for the tops of stairs were perfect for my pets. The lights around the outside and the outdoor tv were an awesome touch as well. We had a perfect stay and would love to come back. The only negative feedback I would add is the floor/deck right below the staircase that leads to the ping pong table gets very slippery. It rained some on 2 days of our trip causing that part to get very slippery. My 10 year old slipped and fell pretty hard to where it knocked the breath out of him. Just a rubber rug like they have on docks or restaurant kitchens with the holes in it would do wonders there. Y’all have a beautiful cabin! We loved every second of our stay!

This was our 2nd visit to the cottage and this time we brought along some family members, to include a 5 and 10 year old. We had a blast - there was so much for the grandkids to do and they took full advantage of the kayaks, boat, hot tub, darts, corn hole and ping pong. It was a perfect place for them and the location is so convenient. Our pup dog Rosie enjoyed her visit as well and even visited the local kennel, Pets Night Out, a couple of days. This is a fantastic cottage and we will definitely return again.

We had the best time at this cabin! It was so comfy, cozy and lots to do! We have been to this area several times and this was by far our favorite cabin! We will definitely be back!

Our family had an amazing stay! The cottage is absolutely gorgeous and very clean. The host has done a wonderful job by being so thoughtful with big and small amenities around the property. We enjoyed being outside on the dock and being cozy inside. The perfect place for a weekend away!

The cabin was fantastic - clean, fully stocked, comfortable beds and close to both Ellijay and Blue Ridge. The screened in back porch and outdoor kitchen were our favorite places to sit and enjoy the serenity of the lake plus the lake is so close to enjoy. The area under the house was a great place to retreat to and read. We were so impressed that we have booked another week in spring of 2026! Communication with the owner was very prompt and the online pictures were exactly as we found the cabin. You will not be disappointed!

The cottage is perfectly situated between Blue Ridge and Ellijay in a calm peaceful area and stocked with everything you need The lake is so pretty reflecting the lights at night as you sit by the Firepit. I’d love to stay again!

We enjoyed our stay here. The property has many out door spaces that are covered . It rained alot the weekend we stayed but were still able enjoy the amenities. The beds are very comfortable in all the rooms. We did run into a problem when the dishwasher broke but that was a minor issue for us. Things happen sometimes. I would recommend this property. It is a great getaway if you are looking to fish, relax and explore the great town of elijay and Blueridge Ga. The out door cooking space was a great plus .

Wow!

Pictures don't do this place justice. Very well appointed, great location, comfortable. Easy check in and quick responses from the host. Everything was perfect!
Our dog Baloo, he looks huge here but he isn't that big, loved having zoomies on the lawn and swimming in the lake.
Lake view after a bit of rain, and enjoying a glass of wine on the dock.

Excellent Family Time at Lakeside Cottage

My family (myself, wife, and two kids) stayed at Lakeside Cottage during Spring break. The cottage is very nice inside and outside. Inside, the cabin is very clean and well decorated. Everyone was pleased with how comfortable the beds were. The outside deck space is expansive and well done. We played table tennis, sat in the hot tub, and used the grill to make burgers. We also kayaked and fished. The communication from the owner was exceptional throughout. Overall, the experience exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to coming back.

Weekend with family

This cabin is stunning! It’s a quiet neighborhood. The lake views and easy access was great! The big lawn area was heaven for our dogs! Throwing a tennis ball for fetch! The outdoor games, corn hole, pingpong, volleyball on the lawn. This place had something for everyone! So relaxing and fun! The outdoor grill and big outside dining table was perfect! There are a lot of stairs to get down to the lawn and fire pit. But hey we got our steps in! We loved our stay!The only thing that could have made it better would have been more days together!
