"The Corn Store was just as the pictures showed. It’s a pretty Cottage in a peaceful location with many local amenities. We only had a few days but felt we had seen and done a lot. "Having read the previous reviews we opted to book this cottage at short notice Unfortunately we had several issues on arrival, the property appeared to have not been vacuumed as carpets are floors were dirty. Both beds were missing the mattress protectors, and the double bed was extremely uncomfortable due to a very soft mattress. Chipped plates in the cupboard and greasy baking trays. "Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs.
