Otis (my pug) and I wanted to go on a staycation from Odessa Florida, to a house on the water while my husband was in class all week. When I was searching relentlessly for a place I finally stumbled upon Glenn’s home, which I’m glad I did. From the second I walked in, I could feel how clean the place is and having the air down already was so refreshing on a hot day. Check in was easy and I was immediately feeling comfortable like it was my home away from home. The view from the dock and the balcony was amazing, especially during the sunrise and sunset. The traffic from the bridge was muted, and it felt just so peaceful out there. His tv’s are nice and huge which I stayed in for during a few thunderstorms that rolled in, but when I was able to sit on the dock of the bay, I caught two fish! I’m sure there would have been more because the fish were biting like crazy! I bought frozen shrimp bait from a shop ten minutes away at a place called Carlton arms mart. They also had other frozen bait. Whiskey joes restaurant is a short walk from the house, maybe next time I’ll go but I didn’t want to leave the house :). The beds were comfortable and the time I spent at Glenn’s place was just so relaxing and memorable. (Let’s not forget how kind he was and very helpful and responsive if I needed anything!) I will definitely be back!!
