"Even better than the pictures. The cabin is an 1850s cabin that was reassembled on the property. It was adorable. Had everything we needed. The area is beautiful. There are several cabins and tree houses on the property but each has more than enough privacy from the next. We came with our two young daughters and they had a blast. "We had a wonderful stay at this charming house in a lovely small river town! It was the perfect spot for “home base” for our family reunion held in Karbers Ridge — plenty of space, comfortable, and clean. We enjoyed exploring the area, walking to grab an ice cream, look at the river and a short drive away for delicious meals at Strickland Seafood in Paducah, and a lunch at Patti’s 1880’s, and we also had some fun at Harrah’s in Metropolis. "My husband and I took our 3 sons ( 22 years old and twins that are 19). The cabin was perfect! It was very hot outside while we were there ( between 92-95 degrees every day but the AC kept up great and I was thankful for that! "Enjoyed every minute. The river-facing windows and deck allowed us to experience the view all day and night. Don’t be fooled by the charming vintage exterior because the amenities are all in excellent condition. The mattresses are among the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The bathroom is luxurious with the jacuzzi being everything you could ask for. Close to spectacular hiking trails and scenery. Highly recommend!"
