I reserved a room at a well know large chain that was suppose to have wifi and a pool and lights that didnt flicker the whole time they were on in the bathroom or exterior doors that had you getting a new key to get into the hotel once or twice a day. So when i would get to the hotel at 2 or 4am i would have to fumble through multipe cards to finally admit defeat and as i was roomed as far from the desk as possible id have to walk all the way there and then ask for a new card... wait for the clerk to do it then walk back and finally get in. Each time it took at least 30 minutes out of my already small window for sleep each night.
I missed a deadline I should have had all night to work on after checking in but couldnt as the wifi was down. I made sure the hotel i picked had an outside larger pool which this one advertised and in August it was tarped and inaccessible. Im not sure if it even had water in it.
The single disk coffee maker would spew hot cofee everwhere as well.
The only good thing i have to say is that on my check out day i over slept and when they called at 1115am waking me up they didnt fuss that i had to get my stuff out. Which i did in less than 30 min so not really like they had to wait long.
