Riverside Living with Easy Access to Downtown

Situated on the Pasquotank River, The Dock House provides a peaceful escape in the center of Elizabeth City. This waterfront condo blends the calm of riverside living with easy access to downtown. Whether you`re looking for a quiet retreat or an adventurous escape, The Dock House is your ideal home away from home.

Our stylish, spacious condo is just six steps up to a single-level sanctuary! Enjoy outdoor relaxation on the deck, which features breathtaking views, a cozy porch swing, a screened porch, and an outdoor dining area.

Inside, there are three bedrooms, each with a smart TV (Roku included), two full bathrooms, and a half bath. The fully equipped kitchen includes a Keurig coffee maker and all necessary essentials for cooking and entertaining. A private office with scenic views and WiFi makes remote work convenient.

Pass the time with various board games from the closet or try fishing off your private dock (bring your gear!). A washer and dryer add ease to your stay, letting you pack light and focus on creating memories!

Arrive by sailboat or motorboat and secure it in your exclusive slip! You can easily access the water from Waterfront Park, located a short distance from the condo (Free boat launch and trailer parking) or nearby marinas.

Ideal for river activities like fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, or swimming, this location is also just a 45-minute drive from OBX Waterpark, making it great for day trips.

Hosts are a message or call away! If any issues arise, feel free to call or message us.
Up to four vehicles are permitted, with two reserved parking spaces and two spots in the central overflow area, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Oversized vehicles, bucket trucks, and trailers are NOT permitted. Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM, and a maximum of three guests.

The Dock House was very nice - new, modern furnishings, large spacious rooms and a fabulous view of the sound. It was just a short walk over the bridge into town where there were lovely shops and restaurants. Very nice stay!

The Dock House was perfect for our stay in Elizabeth City. We were within 5-10 minutes of everything. The condo was exactly as listed, very spacious and clean. Jen provided our access code in plenty of time for check-in and checked on us during our stay, without being intrusive. Our trip was only two nights, but this condo would have been amazing for a longer stay. We had plenty of space to spread out and recharge during our busy weekend. We will definitely look to stay here again on future visits.

Fantastic location with the best views!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful waterfront rental in Elizabeth City! The location couldn't be better — right on the water with stunning views from sunrise to sunset. Sitting out on the deck with a morning coffee or evening drink while watching the boats go by was truly relaxing.One of the biggest perks was the **private boat slip**, which made bringing and docking our boat incredibly convenient. Being right on the water gave us easy access to explore the river and enjoy water activities anytime we wanted.The house itself was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The space felt cozy yet open, with large windows that made the most of those incredible water views.The **location is very walkable** — just a short stroll to downtown Elizabeth City where we found great restaurants, charming shops, and a lovely waterfront park. We didn’t need to drive much at all during our stay, which was a big plus.Whether you’re coming for a quiet retreat or a boating adventure, this spot checks all the boxes. We’ll definitely be back!

Family time

While in Elizabeth City for our son’s Coast Guard graduation, “The Dock House” provided us the space and perfect location for much needed family time. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful water view setting with easy access to restaurants in E City.

Postcard views in Elizabeth City

Lovely condo with everything we needed. Clean, just minutes from downtown, close to restaurants and shops. Absolutely amazing views of the cypress trees in the river. Would definitely stay there again.

A Wonderful Time

Roomy, clean, well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and right on the water - all that we were hoping for! We liked the easy walk across the river into Elizabeth City and found several good restaurants and shops to enjoy. We would certainly come back!

Perfect quiet getaway for us...

Don't let the building itself deter you - it looks a bit dated on the outside, but the interior and back deck/outdoor living spaces were everything we could want, and the view was INCREDIBLE. So clean, modern and comfortable inside, and laid out VERY well for our needs. We honestly could have moved in and lived here and been happy, lol. Jen was SO helpful and johnny on the spot when we had a brief glitch with the entry pad. Didn't have a single repeat problen throughout the trip. Highly recommend this VRBO!

Family Reunion 2024

The condo was the perfect location for the family gathering. We explored Elizabeth City and took advantage of the boat dock for a little boat ride. The dock house felt like home and the pictures didn’t do it justice. It’s absolutely stunning inside. The view from the balcony was incredible. We will be back again.

Beyond Expectations!

From start to finish our stay exceeded our expectations! This is THE perfect location! Just over the bridge from so many wonderful activities. But also a peaceful, zen morning experience on the Pasquatank River. We caught (and released) fish from right outside our door. Local family kayaked to our dock! The Dock House itself was stocked with many thoughtful amenities; it made for an effortless stay. Even the decor was calm and peaceful. Loved the live plants, fish tanks and the big towels! Our hosts were instantly responsive to our questions and I left feeling like we were friends. Thank you for providing such a welcoming, comfortable and fun place for us to stay!

Right on the water & close to old town

Had a wonderful stay in this well-appointed condo. Spacious one floor living with comfortable furnishings. We watched a lot of sail boats from the large deck and fished from the pier (caught a variety of fish). Close to old downtown (within walking distance), with a lot of good restaurants and two breweries. Highly recommend.

The Dock House is Awesome!

We can't say enough about this property, its location and views, and communication with the hosts. Beautifully located on the Pasquotank River, which feeds into Albemarle Sound. It is so peaceful and the vistas are just great. We could have sat all day in one of the rooms looking out onto the river, watching the water, boat activity, and birds. So serene. We liked it so much, we are coming back in July! And, communication with the hosts was timely and informative, and they were so welcoming. We love Elizabeth City! A great little waterfront town with nice people.
