"We stayed 2 nights while we were attending National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville-we were apprehensive at first since we had our 3 kids with us, however the hotel was perfect and our kids had a great time in the pool. My husband and I would love to come back again for an adult trip to utilize the casino and other amenities."

"My room was clean over all when I arrived except they didnt put a new trash bag in the bathroom Still had a beer can from the last occupants. The heat/cool unit was flashing 24/7 red and blue lights. It was distracting to sleep, I put shoes over the vents, to cover the flashing lights.I slept well after that. I give it a 4.5 of 5 stars. Minor oversight. But like I said overall stay was excellent."

"Such a lovely building, clearly loved by all who work there. Information about the property, check-in procedure, etc. was communicated very clearly before my arrival. Fresh lemon blueberry scones were there for a snack when I arrived near midnight. Wow. When booking, I didn’t think about the lack of elevator at this property. My 68 year old knees did complain a little when climbing the external & interior stairs with my luggage."

"Over all a great place. Pool table, nice gym, clean room. All showers are walk, so no tubs which is is great for elderly. The mattresses could be better and the pillows were a bit sad, but overall, is stay here again. This is my second stay with Tru and I feel is a good reliable brand with a great hot breakfast."

"The room, public spaces and bar & restaurant were very clean and nicely decorated/ up to date. I was only two doors down from the elevator and maybe fifty feet from the front desk. Hotel was full and I didn’t hear a thing outside my room. Food at Al’s Table was creative and delicious (fried green tomatoes with a ricotta/pistachio whipped dip) and shrimp and grits. Staff- front desk lady who checked me in was very friendly and prompt at getting me set up. Al’s staff- the hostess was so friendly...
