"Just loved it very much host was excellent very accommodating was had great use of the paddle boat kayaks canoe was lovely lil place bunkie on the water was a great sleep was very comfy cottagy lots of dock space to fish and sit have coffee right on the lake was is a very beautiful spot and we really enjoyed our stay of clamping for the first time was really fun. Thanks so much to the host for letting us use the property was fantastic."

"We had a fantastic stay at the blue cottage to meet up with family and spend some time by the water. Shane was a responsive, kind host and the cottage had everything we needed for our stay."

"Online information false/misleading and the property is completely unsuitable for anyone with even minor mobility issues. I was booked for two nights but left after one and went to a motel. - notwithstanding what the website advertises, this cabin does NOT have a bathroom. A bathroom is available in the main house, 50 or so meters away. It is not separate from the host's living space (i.e. not private). "Loved Gregory and the place. Very nice host, small cottage but with all the commodities. The lake was amazing. Recommending!! "

"We loved our 3 days and 4 nights at The Dance Hall. The wood burning stove was enjoyed and appreciated as the weather was quite cool and wet. We loved listening and watching the loons, geese and herons from the dock. We did some paddling in the kayaks provided around islands not too far from shore. The cottage is filled with interesting antiques, cookbooks, a record player and records. We would love to come again. "

"This little cottage was great. Well equipped (but the toaster is struggling a bit). Stunning views, great outside shower, a double hammock and lots of kayaks for a morning paddle with the loons. Life at Lake Opinicon at its finest."

"We stayed a week in July 2025. Jeff was great at responding to our questions prior to the trip and everything went smoothly. The lakeside location had amazing views and the sunsets were outstanding. It was a very hot and sunny week and we were able to choose sun on the deck and dock or find shade beneath the tent-like structure on the deck or in the adirondack chairs by the firepit, which was also lakeside. "My husband and I really enjoyed this little fishing cabin in the woods. It was just what we needed. There are beautiful trees and the fireflies put on an amazing lightshow for us every single evening for the entire week that we stayed there. "A estadia foi maravilhosa! O hotel é muito bem cuidado, quartos amplos e limpos, com serviço de quarto muito bom, televisão nova, frigobar, cofre e banheiro com banheira. O café da manhã é tipo pegue e leve, mas de boa qualidade. O hotel tem dois andares, um piso térreo e outro superior, acessivel por escadas. Ficamos na parte superior. Tudo bem, mas pode ser um problema para mais idosos. Entretanto a administradora faz de tudo para realocar. O hotel está muito bem localizado para acesso às atuações de Gananoque e das 1000 ilhas."
