"The property is beautiful. It was rainy so we didn't get to walk it this time. The house is very clean. Everything for cooking is provided. We even had awesome muffins waiting for us. The host is very prompt with check in information. This is our 3rd time to stay there. We will be back next year!"

"Fantastic glamping stay! Fishing at the dock, canoe rentals, and a cozy outdoor fire pit made it perfect for our group of four. Early check‑in was affordable and gave us extra time to enjoy our one‑night Bastrop Lake trip. Would definitely return."

"The location is the reason we go. But the property was really not being maintained. The wifi never worked, the hot tubs are just sitting with old water in them and are really a safety hazard with children. The bathroom was very dirty and covered with mold. The shower door would not fully close so water just poured in the floor. I made these things known to the staff and was just told they would let someone know. Disappointing experience at a place we’ve previously enjoyed. "

"My fiancé, dog and I stayed here for a wedding in Round Rock. We enjoyed the peace at The Palette Pad. Sheron made us blueberry muffins that were so good!! Our dog loved the open space. We all walked down to the river through the pecan orchard and found fossils! So cool! Sheron was communicative, helpful and so sweet. Highly recommend staying here. Thank you again so much for everything!"

"Great for getting out in nature! Absolutely loved the decor and shower. Also really great for dogs; there was even a towel for dogs. Beautiful property, roughly 20 mins from downtown Bastrop/Bastrop State Park. Perfect for outdoorsy people (especially city-dwellers wanting some fresh air). Lots of dishes/cooking utensils, a coffee bar, fire pit, and plenty of seating as well!"
