"Stunning view of Whiteface, large walkable property. Family owned and run which we appreciate.
Rodger was friendly and enured that we knew how to reach him. Check in was fast and easy.

"We loved our stay at the Wolfjaw. We had an end unit which we preferred so that worked out great. Our room was very clean and we were happy to see there was a nice mini fridge too. We appreciated the quietness overall. We would happily rent again here!"
"My girlfriend and I LOVED this place. It's not the Marriot or some chain, so it's a bit unique and has quirks, and that's why it's awesome. The room was small but comfortable, the bed very comfy. There was no TV in the room, which I really liked. Great shower. Outside there was a little deck with chairs so we could relax, listen to the Ausable River and look at the lovely grounds. There was also a restaurant area (closed while we were there) that we could sit in for meals or just to hang out....

Right off the road, but quiet. Nearby town for food.
No elevator for second floor. Again, fine for us. No AC, but you don’t usually need it and rooms have fans. The doors are odd, but all work. Let the water run awhile for a hot shower or washing dishes. Good size fridge and stove.

"This hotel is my go-to in Lake Placid during my annual figure skating camp there. Ozzy the Manager is amazing!!! He remembers everyone’s name and is just… Hospitality if it were a human being it would be Ozzy. ❤️❤️🙏🙏 Alexa is another totally amazing staff member and the cleaning crew also was super helpful and great. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast is good. They have free coffee & lime/cucumber water in the lobby all day through the afternoon and you can fill your water bottle as...

"I loved the rooftop area, just wish you could bring your own food. I loved the location, so close to town! The shower pressure was awful, and the rooms were kind of dim. I like the size of the room. "
