"What a charming place. Everything about the place looks like it has history. The rooms are large, very clean, with every provision you could want. The hotel includes two restaurants and a bar. The staff couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. I would highly recommend Tremont to others."

"The room and the staff were nothing but awesome. The breakfast meal and the attendants were fantastic. The cleaning staff were exceptional in making sure everything was cleaned daily and fresh towels. The attendant that checked us in was friendly and very professional!!!!"

"The room was clean and beds pretty comfortable. We had four of us and only two towels so we had to go get two more. The next day they were replaced with only two again, so we had to go get two more again. I also hate when there is not much venting out of the bathroom. It got so humid in there. The ceiling was wet. "

"Wonderful having breakfast available. Sausage was cold, so heated it in microwave. Would have like bacon as an option. Loved the option of waffle. Coffee was very weak."

"We stayed here because I was working in Cedar Falls and in Ames and this was a good halfway point. It is so peaceful by the river and the host was very accommodating. My husband lives with a physical disability and doesn't handle stairs well; this place has no stairs and was very accessible and worked well for him. Our dog loved it too, plenty of green space. A lovely spot in a small town, one of our favorite stops. Thank You!"
