"Die Hütte ist süß. Ca 10 m vor der Hütte sind warmes und kaltes Wasser - das ist super, nur etwas kompliziert bei Wind;-)) Man sollte wissen: Die Gemeinschaftsküche sowie Bad/Toiletten sind ca 100 m entfernt. Und man sollte lieber vorher woanders Lebensmittel kaufen, da es in der Nähe nur einen sehr teuren „Krambudin“ gibt."

"Very steep unpaved access. If you have fear of heights this may cause problems getting in and out. Didn’t have Body wash on arrival. Day 2 we found they have entered and put body wash in which is a violation of privacy — entering room without permission when we were out!!! Could not take shower first night. Didn’t deliver body wash until day 2. View is great. "

"Very cozy place, well equipped and in a somewhat isolated location (which is good) near Akureyri, great place to explore the region. One thing to note is that the rooms are separated by (black-out) curtains, not doors, but that's fine if you are travelling with family or close friends."

"We love being in the country. The house surrounded by beautiful landscapes. It worked perfectly for our plans. We went to all the attractions on the north end and east . Visited Raufarhofn, Husavik , Arttic Henge, Egilsstadir seeing waterfalls, caldrons, amazing canyons, lighthouses, sheep and horses. Great restaurant , Farm to Table I believe was the name. Akuyeri was a short drive away. Great place to stay and explore. "
