"We stayed in the guesthouse and everything was kept very clean. Our room was tight but sufficient (we were barely there anyway). Breakfast has an excellent selection including some baked goods made on site. Going to the spa after a day hike was an extra bonus. Overall service was very friendly and helpful. "

"Quartos confortáveis embora muito quentes tivemos de desligar o aquecimento durante a noite. Embora nas fotos apresentadas os quartos tinham um lavatório no quarto o nosso não tinha. Fazia falta um local para colocar as bagagens o nosso quarto apenas tinha cabides para pendurar a roupa. Pequeno almoço razoável faltou opções salgadas demasiadas compotas e opções doces uns ovos ou bacon seria agradável "

"Little away from the town Eglaistar but beautiful. Nearby there is Studgil Canyon viewpoint 53 minutes "

"Très joli petit hôtel sans prétention dans une ambiance de bout du monde. Très propre avec un personnel courtois et sympathique. Menu unique pour le dîner mais laissant la part belle aux produits de la mer: délicieux. La chambre est très basique mais impeccable et confortable. "

"Lovely rural property, road is a little rough getting there, but very peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was perfect with an assortment of breads, fruit, delicious lattes, juices… The woman who was preparing breakfast was kind and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Fantastic accommodation. More than what we expected, It was spacious, very clean, amazing shower, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen and a wonderful view. Very quiet and tranquil surroundings. You could even see Icelandic horses from the window. Host was very responsive and we had a great time. Would highly recommend."

"The host Siggi, is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of Iceland. We talked with him over coffee and breakfast which was delicious and included BTW. Siggi is the third generation farming on his grandfather’s land in a beautiful area right about Malari beach. He was able and enthused to discuss Icelandic history, conditions since becoming a republic in 1944, and future prospects given its ideal location between Europe and North America. All in all, nice homey atmosphere and friendly...

"Talk about eco-friendly, this hotel generates its own electricity from a creek. Ever stay in a sod hotel? U never know the storm outside has 50 mph winds! It was a wonderful stay, very secluded and accomodating. Restaurant was not open in winter, so bring food. Good place to search for the northern lights."

"Un ensembre de 6 chambres sur la colline a 3,5km de la ville donc au calme. Chambre ni trop grande ni trop petite Coin cuisine ideal pour rechauffer des plats quand on n a plus envie de ressortir . Tout est bien fonctionnel pour un court sejour. "

"It's a lovely guesthouse in a former school building, with a small room but a comfortable common area and a well stocked kitchen. Beautiful views of the fjord. The area is a bit isolated--just a tiny village, and it takes over an hour to get there from the main road by a steep winding dirt road. We hiked up the hill, but the trail isn't well maintained. It's a great place for peace and quiet, but not as a base for exploring the eastern fjords."

"Rigtig fin til en overnatning. Elsker de havde køkken, hvor man selv kunne lave mad - det nød vi godt af! Vi havde dog ikke fået vores tjek ind oplysninger, men vi ringede bare til ejeren og hun var der inden for 2 minutter. "
