Avoid this location.
We stayed at the Travelodge by Wyndham in Stony Plain on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, checked in around 8:00 PM. The front desk staff was rude and unprofessional. The lady at the desk was speaking in her own language with another staff member and laughing loudly while I stood waiting to check in. I have booked 2 rooms and she gave me key for only one room after spending 10 minutes at the front desk. When I asked for the key for the second room, she was rude and said she did not know that you have 2 rooms booked and that Inhabe to tell her in the beginning. 2 rooms were booked in the same booking.
Then later we ordered food online. When food delivery accidentally spilled on the floor when the delivery driver was handing it over to me, I immediately apologized and asked for a broom so I could clean it myself. Her response was disrespectful and dismissive: “What do you want me to do? This is not a restaurant.” I was not asking staff to clean it—only for basic courtesy.
We have stayed at this location before with no issues, but this experience was unacceptable. If professionalism and basic respect matter to you, do not book the Travelodge by Wyndham Stony Plain.
