"We loved being out of town a bit. In the country feel. It was super quiet, even with the other cabins booked. We were comfortable and loved the view of the pond, deer, birds. "

"Using this awesome place as a base, we explored the Black Hills from bottom to top. If you're looking for complete solitude, this is the place. Don't miss, Needles Highway, Spearfish Canyon Hwy, 1885 restaurant."

"We took a two week vacation to see some national parks. It was wonderful but we wanted to end it with some relaxation and we found it here! Loved how unique it was outdoorsy yet had the tiny house if needing to be inside. Loved the outdoor shower, if we ever head in that direction again we will be going back! Host was also very quick to respond when we had questions."

"The property was amazing! It was so clean and perfect location for all our Black Hills adventures! It was super quiet and we put the fire pit to good use! We also used the grill and cooked all our meals in the kitchen as well which was nicely stocked with plates, utensils, pots, pans, etc. It was just the perfect setup! Also it was so nice it was pet friendly as my 22 year old dog was able to roam and wander the property and then warm his old bones by the fireplace. Also the laundry room was...

"This was a perfect home base for our time in the Black Hills of SD. Plenty of space for 2 couples. The cabin was stocked with everything (& then some) you needed. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub at the end of the day. The views and wildlife were amazing! Check in was easy and communication with the owner was quick. Would highly recommend this place. "

"We had a great stay, excellent hosts, and clean cabin! Would stay again! Only gave three starts for location because on neighboring property there's industrial tanks with hazardous products. Something the hosts have no control over; but they're there.We've stayed at many VBROS/Air B n Bs; this place is top notch!!!"

"We came to bike the Michelson Trail, which runs right behind the property. Easy to jump on and bike in either direction. We enjoyed the back deck and fire pit and grill at the end of the day. The location is super convenient for all Black Hills adventures. Super close to Crazy Horse and Mount Rushmore. "

"This was my first VRBO booking so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Everything went smoothly from booking to check in. Every time I messaged Archie the host he responded in a timely manner. Very quiet setting and if you’re a golfer like me it’s perfect for golfing the course in Custer as it’s literally a driver away from the cabin. I would definitely stay here again. "

"We took our family to the monuments for fall break. The cabin was great. The location was wonderful. Lots of wildlife. There was a fire ban, so we don’t get to use the wonderful fire pit! My husband loved the sauna. The only negative was the WiFi. We used. Hotspot and things worked out."

"Was very presently surprised about the extra amenities in this property. The garage was a great bonus seeing we got here during a hail storm and heavy rain, the outdoor seating areas were also very inviting"

"From being able to pull into the attached garage to unload in the rain (priceless), to relaxing in the hot tub, this was a wonderful place. Everything you could think you needed was already provided- towels for hot tub, ice cube tray, beans for coffee & grinder, and more. The beds & linens were top notch, and love having thermostats in each room. Great location with restaurants in walking distance. We hiked some of the local trails, and again- fantastic location to Custer State Park , Crazy...
