Overall we all really enjoyed our stay, the property is beautiful and the house itself was comfortable. Things we feel could be improved…. 1. There should enough cookware, utensils, coffee cups, & plates for max number of guests advertised. As a family that cooked every meal it was a little bit of a struggle. 2. It would have been nice to have napkins, tissue, and large casserole dish for family meals. 3. While we appreciate the array of spices, there was no salt. 4. The keypad on the guesthouse battery is dead 5. The grounds were beautiful but ill maintained, wood dry rotting, unusable outside cushions, not enough firewood, and no lighting at night. 6. We enjoyed the use of the grill but the grate did not fit properly

First, we arrived to the property and none of the codes worked. There was used teeth flossers laying on the outdoor table which was a little gross-but no biggie we could throw them away. The lake was totally drained so nothing but a mud pit which we were not informed of. Next-we thought to check out the game room! Stepping out of the game room, the stair was not secure causing it to flip over while holding my 8 month old son. Yikes. All of the tables are SO unstable, literally felt like they could fall apart at any time. My feet were literally black with dirt from walking around inside the house. Tried to make the best of it. We had stayed here before and loved it but this time was truly truly disappointing for the money spent.

Everything was fantastic. We could not be happier with this property. It was a beautiful weekend. This property had everything that we needed and would change nothing at all. Our host was outstanding and was always there to contact.

The house was just charming and very nicely decorated. Would warn people that plates with metal don’t go in the microwave and be sure to mop the floors as walking around barefoot, our feet turned quite dirty.

Oh my goodness, I cannot speak more highly of this beautiful home. It was absolutely gorgeous. Our favorite part was the open breezeway that allowed all of us to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather! The kitchen was stocked with all supplies you might need, the living and dining room was the perfect size to accommodate everyone also. The houses were extremely clean and comfortable. The pool and pool area were perfect as well! Charlie was a wonderful host and responded quickly when I texted with a few questions. We will absolutely be booking again!

Summer getaway

My family stayed here for our summer vacation June 28th-July 5th. The house was nice but we didnt have a comfortable stay. The living room furniture is not sufficient for a family of 4-6 because theres only a small sofa and 2 older style chairs. The master bed was small and hard. The upstairs shower is small like a camper shower so it was useless for us. The outside area is nice we we were disappointed because we were unable to get a boat up to the property or fish from the "dock". The outside definitely needs some upkeep. The game room was nice. There was dog poop all outside along the fence so it made walking to the dock tricky. Overall the house served it purpose but i expected more considering the price. We would have stayed elsewhere after seeing the condition of the dock area but there wasnt any thing available during the time we were there.

To the lake with the grandparents

We come to the lake every year so we can have a relaxing place to stay while we visit grandparents who live locally. My wifes grandparents are in some bad health so it was nice to sit in the breeze way with them and listen to stories while our kids laughed and played in the pool. The memories made will be memories cherished for a lifetime. The home was phenomenal! Absolutely gorgeous!

Lovely Place

We had a wonderful stay. The home was absolutely enchanting - adorable, comfortable, and very clean. We loved the beautiful lake view from the property. It was the peaceful getaway we needed! We would definitely stay here again!

Ga College Student Visit

We had a family event at Ga College. What a beautiful location on the lake. We will be back to stay at this lake home as it had everything we needed. What a view too!

I miss it already

What a fabulous place and location. There are so many nooks and crannies in the house that are unique and different. I simply had the best time just staring at the water listening to music. The place has everything one would need and it is not far from a Walmart. We are excited that we will be back again in July.

Our stay at the lake house

The lake house was very nice with lots of space for all of us including the guest house across the breezeway. The kitchen was loaded with any kind of utensil, dish, pots and pans you could think of. The pool was very clean and refreshing. The only complaint I have is about the pool ladder. I think there should be non-slip pads on the steps and railings. It was very slippery when you got out of the pool. I had to get water shoes so that my feet wouldn't slip on the steps. Overall, we had a great time while we were there. Thank you.

Summer Trip

We loved this house, the guest house provided us (with a newborn) space for ourselves while the rest of my family stayed in the main house. Wish the pool would have been a little warmer but the weather and everything was nice. Would stay here again for sure!

Family get together

Perfect location and setting for grandparents, kids and grands. Enjoyed kayaking, pool to cool off from heat wave and gathering area outside. Some championship Jenga and chess was played on the porch.

Relaxing

We had a great family trip including our fur baby. The space was beautiful and a lot of personal places to enjoy. Everything was very clean and well stocked. Charlie was a great host with wonderful responses. I would recommended this property for any family that wants to relax and enjoy the view either inside or outside.

This lake house is so cute and uniquely designed.

We visited Lake Sinclair as part of my daughter's first college spring break. She attended a mini-internship in California for 1/2 of the week. I did not want her to miss time enjoying her first college spring break so I rented this lake house. I have rented homes from VRBO for more than 20 years. This cabin is one of the best residences we have stayed at. It is uniquely and thoughtfully designed. The home is clean and well equipped. The entire family enjoyed the covered pavilion as it rained several days but we were still able to enjoy the outdoors, roasting marsh mellows and making smores. Also, we really enjoyed the game room/house. This property is laid out like a compound versus a house. I would highly recommend it.
