"Exceptional view, great environment & accommodation with wonderful hosts - thank you! Had curtains and windows wide open all night - sounds of the sea will be a long term memory of our stay in NZ & saw a greart sunrise. Please don't be put off by the external bathroom - it is via a short covered walkway & very well fitted out - made us both grin at 0200hrs - not an incovenience at all! if only we could have stayed longer!"

"This place was okay for our one night stay. It is not a luxury hotel by any means. The kitchenette is good and modern, but the other furnishings and the shower are chintzy. The staff are nice though. Since it's about the only game in this area, if you want to drive around this coast, you'll have to take what you can get."
