Perfect for our last minute getaway!
We wanted a clean, quiet, affordable house in the middle of the cape. Since it was an unplanned trip, we did not have linens and towels, so we wanted those included. This beautiful new home delivered and Nidhi went above and beyond to make us comfortable. She was a wonderful host and I recommend this house and all it has to offer.

Fabulous home and great location
Our family has been visiting the Cape every summer for quite some time and we love Skaket and Nauset beach. This home is perfectly located between the two and it was the perfect layout and size for our family. We enjoyed the open layout while we made a lobster dinner and played games. We also love the large mudroom where we were able to keep our many shoes, beach supplies, jackets, and bike helmets before we entered the kitchen area. Also, Nidhi was very responsive whenever we needed anything. We had a great time!

It's a home first, rental property second
This was one of the nicest VRBO places we've ever stayed at. From the design choices, to the overall layout of the house, to the amenities/towels/linens/toiletries, everything was great. Typically you rent a place and you know it's a rental because you can tell where they cut corners to maximize the revenue/expenses. This is not that place. The linens were soft, there was a plentiful amount of cookware (to the extent we would cook), the furniture was nice/comfortable, and everything was done ultra-tastefully. The house itself is beautifully laid out. Bedrooms are very large and all their touches made it look/feel like a professional designer did it (I suspect the owner is a professional designer for this reason). My kids (6 & 9) loved the home. Additionally, we didn't bring any beach toys or boogie boards (as this was a last minute trip), yet the house had it waiting for us. Everything is brand new -- as the house was built in 2021. They have a tankless hot water heater, which meant we didn't have to worry about losing hot water. Overall, if you're looking for a home base on Cape Cod from which to explore, it's hard to think of a better place than this. Finally, the owner was ultra-responsive. Our whale watching cruise was cancelled due to high seas, so the owner graciously let us check in earlier so we could get ready for the beach. This saved the day. Thank you so much! Looking forward to returning!

Great Home in Eastham!
My family and I have been vacationing on Cape Cod for the better part of 20 years. "One Day Happened" was by far the nicest home we've stayed in. Absolutely spotless with every amenity, plenty of space for a family of 5 and a great location. Minutes from the CC Bike Trail and only a short drive from First Encounter Beach, Great Pond and ocean beaches. Amenity-wise it was great having beach chairs, towels and linens as part of the rental (no need to schlep those from home). Thanks again, Nidhi!

Eastham in late June
We had a great stay at Nidhi's house. It was the best rental we have ever stayed in. The house is very new, clean, and well organized. Nidhi is well organized and sent us some helpful information about what to do in the surrounding area. We enjoyed the beaches and fishing and the central location to enjoy the outer cape. The house has everything you would need to cook.

Fantastic new property,short drives to kid friendly bay beaches and National Sea Shore…
Wonderful new pristine ,clean house,convienient to beaches and restaurants and numerous outdoor activities .All modern conveniences included.Just bring your beach towels!.. Owners were communicative and called quickly after checking out that we left something behind..Would rent again no question…

Terrific location and stay
We stay there for five nights and the property is beautiful. In a wonderful location if you like to use the bike path very convenient and close. You can also take path to Coast Guard Beach from there. My family had a really good experience and enjoyed everything about cape cod . They want to keep coming back. I highly highly recommend

New / Comfortable / Location is an A+
The house is beautifully maintained with a great floor plan, offering a large living room which proved to be a great area for our toddlers to spread out and play w/ their many toys. The home owners were incredibly responsive and very accommodating. I had to run out to get a 9v battery for something for the house and as a Thank You, they had pizza delivered. What a kind and thoughtful gesture! Lastly, the location is great! It's around the corner from the highway and within minutes of a grocery store. Going the other direction (towards the bay), the bike path is 2 minutes and the bay beaches are about 10 away. 5 stars and hope to be back soon. Thanks!

Delightfully clean and new
We go to the Cape every year…. This home was a new discovery for us. It was exceptionally clean; attractive; convenient to hiking trails and the National Seashore. Quiet wooded neighborhood and a nice back deck and yard. We will be back.

Amazing long weekend with Friends!!
This was a wonderful house! We enjoyed the outdoor space so much. So close to bike and walk/run trail. Incredibly clean and comfortable. Kitchen was fabulous to cook in! Hope we can come back one day.

A lovely, contemporary colonial home in a quiet, wooded neighborhood, nr beaches, ponds, bike trail
Wonderfully bright house,with caring owners situated in a lovely & quiet mid-cape residential community that is a short drive from ocean and bay beaches, from the national seashore and the Wellfleet Audubon sanctuary. The Cape bike rail trail is around the corner. Beds are comfortable will sleep up to 6 adults with room for kids. It is a lovely spot. Owners are responsive and friendly.

Great spot for a family getaway
The house was clean and very well-kept (this was most important to us). We got the impression everything was new and hadn’t been heavily used yet. We found everything we needed, it was a very comfortable stay for 4 adults. Location is great, the house is situated just a couple minutes from the bike trail and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening walks down the path. We would definitely visit again.

Relaxing Retreat
It was nice for us to get away from the city for a few days. Very quiet neighborhood. Beautiful home with lovely decorative accents. The house was very clean & tidy. Rooms were large & spacious with plenty of storage space. Nidhi was easy to communicate with, very attentive. I appreciated the guest book with all the information we would need re: home instructions, nearby places to eat & things to do. My daughter loved the different coffee maker options. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Family Spot
Communication with Nidhi prior to our trip was very responsive. The location of the property was probably the best we have had on the Cape. Easy access to beaches, bike trail, local town and places to eat. It’s a short drive to Provincetown in the north and Chatham in the south. Everything was so accessible. The house is like a TARDIS. From the outside it didn’t look that big, but don’t be fooled! The living space is perfect for a family – warm, comfortable and with a well appointed kitchen. The bedrooms and bathrooms were also large. The property has clearly had an extensive remodel and the finish and fixtures were all of a high quality. The location of the house is along a dirt track with a number of similar style properties. The neighbors were friendly and it was extremely quiet at night. It was idyllic. Few pointers: Local Break in Eastham for solid food with a variety of choices; Ben n Jerry’s Eastham for ice cream; Hole in One in Eastham or Orleans for hand cut, amazing donuts (get there early – they don’t last long!). First Encounter Beach for amazing sunsets. Coast Guard beach on Oceanside for sunrises. All of these within a couple miles of the property. Our only complaint was that we did not stay long enough. Still, I can’t blame Nidhi for that! Next time, we’ll be sure to stay longer. And there will definitely be a next time…

We’re looking forward to coming back!
We absolutely loved our visit. The house was sparkling clean when we arrived with a nice note from the owner. The layout was perfect and the bedroom sizes were spacious with plenty of room. Soothing back deck with views of serene and beautiful backyard. Brand new construction so everything was new. And the neighborhood was fabulous - we enjoyed taking daily walks around the neighborhood. Nidhi and Hemant were wonderful to deal with and got back quickly if we had any questions. We can’t wait to come back this summer!

Great family getaway!
We stayed at One Day Happened for a few days in Mar/Apr with our two kids. The house is beautiful and well appointed, and the owners were very responsive. We enjoyed the excellent food and beaches in the area and hope to return again in the future!

Perfect weekend getaway
Nidhi’s newly built house is a perfect home away from home. Checking in was extremely easy thanks to Nidhi’s custom programming of the front door lock and the grille and lawn furniture made for a very relaxing weekend getaway. The remote controlled fireplace was also a very nice touch while watching TV before bed. The location of the house is great too with close proximity to town and a phenomenal Fort Hill walking trail. All in all highly recommend this home for anyone looking to enjoy a true cape vacation.
