"We had a pleasant experience. The only problem was when we moved a fire pit closer to our cabin because the are was vacant (5 fire pits only 8 cabins, which needs to be addressed). The man who checks on the property came over and stated he drove by to talk to us earlier, but we were not at the cabin, which (a) seems like stalking and (b) his tone and the way he was leering at my daughter in law were not appreciated. If we stay next year my son and I may just kick his ass....we were tempted to...

"The cabin is a perfect for a getaway. Close to multiple beaches. You can go by the shore, sit at the table and enjoy the lake. The double bed was comfortable. There is no tv but who needs one when you have so much to do. It is great that the cabin is dog friendly. Wonderful host and easy to communicate. "

"We liked that it was practical and felt like a home away from home. Some cabins feel like they’re trying to be hotels and that’s fine, but this felt more like a quiet, simplified home. The layout was practical and there were places to hang towels. It made good use of the available space. It’s located away from the busy street and between Tawas and Oscoda, making for a shorter drive to both places. Our only downside was the beds were small (they are listed as double — so I just thought in my head...

"We had a good time during our stay here. There was a little noise from the road but the cabin is very close to US23 so that is to be expected. Cabin was laid out well, and the beds were comfy and clean. It is a rustic cabin with modern amenities and it fit the bill for our stay.Would definitely consider this location again for future trips up to the East Tawas/Oscoda area. "

"My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. Located in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood and just two blocks from the main downtown area, this cottage had everything we needed for our stay. Hosts were quick to respond to messages prior to our arrival. No issues. Definitely would stay here again!"

"My family just loved this property! The neighborhood is quiet, yet just a few blocks from the local businesses. It's a short distance to any of the beaches and parks and overall in great proximity to everything. The home was clean and cozy and offered everything we needed for our stay. The window AC units perfectly cooled the home and allowed us blissful sleep. I enjoyed the cozy deck and spacious back yard. We wish we could've stayed longer! "

"We came up for a quick weekend getaway. Location is good, just outside of East Tawas and not far from oscoda. There’s a washer and dryer which is great for drying out your bathing suits/towels. Plenty of towels on hand, and they have a well stocked kitchen; bowls, cups, pots/pans, etc. The Keurig coffee pot was a plus. Each bedroom has a TV, and the beds are comfortable. The house is decorated nicely, and has a kalimba. "

"This house was definitely one to stay at. It was very roomy and had everything you could ever need from bathroom items to kitchen items. It was perfect. My family could not say enough about it.
