"Da unser Cottage ca 100m von der Durchgangsstrasse lag und es auf dem Grundstück viele Bäume gibt, war es extrem ruhig. Der Empfang durch Angela und ihre Katzen war sehr nett. Das Cottage selber ist bestens mit Herd/Ofen, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine (zum Empfang gab es Wilkommensportionen Kaffee :-) ), Wasserkocher und Toaster ausgestattet. "The house was very clean and well stocked. Mike was great at giving all the necessary information required and was easy very responsive with communication. The town is great and full of friendly people. The nearby beach is a spectacular spot; my favourite so far. The location is perfect to go golfing, beaching, hiking, and sightseeing. "What a wonderful spot to get away from it all. This cottage is in a very private location. It has a good bit of land for outdoor activities. A new set of stairs leads down to the waterfront. "The Margaree Valley is visually stunning and no more than in Autumn with the leaves changing colour. The property is located on the river with a very easy walk down to the Boars Back Salmon pool. The accommodation was first rate. WiFi and cell coverage 4 bars good. Very comfortable beds. Owners were charming and immediately answered any questions we had. "Everything about our stay was incredible. The home worked perfect for our family and inlaws. No one wanted to leave after our 5 night stay. The home was beautifully decorated and we head everything we needed and more. Mike was a great host and very accommodating which we greatly appreciated traveling across the country and visiting Cape Breton for the first time. "We are a group of 9 ladies over 65. We get together each year for a getaway. This property was great for us. There are several gathering spaces, lots of room, a pool table and a lovely fireplace. There was lots of dry wood available for our use. Thanks very much for that. The view is excellent, beds are great and the kitchen is very well stocked. Everything we needed was there. We had a great time!"
