"Our stay at this cabin was perfect for our family. Watching the pink sunrises across the lake each morning was breathtaking. I especially enjoyed sitting on the deck each morning reading my book and listening to the loons, and in the evenings sitting outside playing games. Our grandsons enjoyed fishing off the dock, my husband enjoyed kayaking and canoeing on the lake, and our golden lab enjoyed sunning herself on the deck. We hope to return to this location again. "Very spacious, clean, and comfortable two-story suite in the downtown area. We loved staying there and highly recommend it. That said, there were some easily addressed deficiencies in the access process. We were given a name for our suite and an access code that we were told would work for entry to the house AND the suite. The code worked for the building but not the suite. Also, none of the suites are marked with names; they’re all numbered."

"Stayed here unplanned after our car needed to go in unexpectedly and absolutely loved it! Adorable set up. The owner was incredibly nice, even helped us pick our car when it was ready. Staying with all the animals was so much fun. Hiking bald mountain was so cool, we got to ID some new lichen and mushrooms. P.S. the eggs are delicious and I think their horse just had a foal right before we left!?"

"We had so much fun here. It was the perfect place to really unplug, start AND finish books, and forget where you left your phone :) We fished, watched fireworks, swam, and went boating. "House size and view were fantastic. It was isolated but yet still not far to restaurants or grocery. Only 30 min from Acadia and Bar Harbor. Downside was that it was not very clean and there was no hand towels in bathrooms to use. We also had to find a closet with towels and one of the beds was not made. So we had to find sheets and make ourselves. Finally it was listed there was a futon when really there was only a futon mattress so one of us slept on a floor on a very old futon mattress. I...

"Poperty is very private in location and absolutely amazing. House was very clean and well equipped for all needs. We hosted a couple of dinners in the dinniing room. The kitchen had everything we needed for our lobster bake night and our italian night. We would highly recommend this poperty if you are looking for private and spacious home."

"We used the cabin as a home base to explore Acadia while having a fun and beautiful place to come back and see the sunsets and sunrises on the water. The little heater was enough to keep us warm during the chilly fall week we were there. Was a great spot for the two of us!"

"Overall, it's a good hotel. Considering the rating, I expected a little bit more. It's an old hotel, but well-maintained. Could be renovated. The breakfast was very good, and the location was great. We stayed there to visit Acadia National Park and Baxter State Park."
