• Outdoor seating for 4 on the covered patio, perfect for morning coffee or sunset drinks.

• Equipped kitchenette and mini bar for light meals, snacks, and chilled beverages.

• David’s Restaurant (Morritt’s) – Sit down dining with seafood and steaks.

• Tides, Subway, and Coffee Bar at the Wyndham – Additional dining, grab and go, and coffee options.

Short drive (approx. 5–15 minutes):

• Vivine’s Kitchen – Classic Caymanian home cooking with sea views.

• Eagle Ray Grill – Burgers, tacos, and casual fare overlooking the reef.

• Big Tree BBQ & other local spots – Authentic roadside barbecue and island dishes.

• La Casita – Mexican restaurant where guests receive 10% off, with pick up options available.

Guests are also close to watersports and tours, including Stingray City trips, kayak rentals, jet skis, diving, and snorkelling excursions, often with a 10% discount at White Sand Water Sports once booked.

GROCERIES, SUNDAY CLOSURES & PRACTICAL DETAILS

Nearby grocery options such as Foster’s Express and Chisholm's Grocery are about 10 minutes away by car. Larger supermarkets are also convenient stops on the drive from the airport.

Supermarkets are closed on Sundays in Cayman, though most restaurants and gas stations remain open, and some gas stations sell liquor on Sundays. Grocery items can also be pre-ordered and delivered before arrival.

Chisholm’s Market is on the Northside, and is open 7 days a week, and is well stocked with food, supplies, beer, wine & liquor. 10 minutes from the condo.

TRANSPORTATION

• A rental car is highly recommended for this area so guests can easily explore Grand Cayman at their own pace.

• Many guests book directly with trusted local providers such as Marshall’s Rent-A-Car, Andy's Rent-A-Car, or compare options through Kayak.

• Due to limited public transportation in East End, having a car offers the greatest convenience and flexibility.

PROMOTIONS

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT

After booking, you’ll receive detailed arrival information by email, and your unique door code before arrival.

Check in is any time after 3:00 PM with keyless entry; early check in may be possible depending on cleaning schedules and can be confirmed with the property manager closer to arrival.

Check out is self service at 11:00 AM, with clear instructions provided; late check out is only available if pre arranged, as time is needed to prepare for incoming guests.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel insurance is recommended, especially during hurricane season from August through October, to help protect against trip interruptions and weather-related disruptions.

Beautiful, quiet place!

We loved the beautiful setting; it was quiet and restful and clean. We gave 4 stars instead of 5 because we had to have the hot water fixed 4 times during our week stay (they have "on demand" water heating). But the managers were very responsive, which is good

the Cottgages is the best place to get away from the touristy hustle. Great location, isolated but close to everything you need. The staff is just the best. Lynn and her team were fabulous! Great restaurants within a couple of miles. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the beach. We will be back!!!

Like a private resort

Check in was smooth. Glen greeted us immediately and was attentive to all of our needs. They even brought us a towel cake and sang to my wife for her birthday. It is very quiet and relaxing. With the best sunrise view ever!!! The breakfast was always on time and as requested. The area restaurants were all fresh and food was excellent.

Just what we needed!

This B & B is perfect! Beautiful property that is quiet and secluded. Beach is amazing and perfect for a walk. After watching the sunrise and a walk, I would return to breakfast on the patio. Small shopping area just a 10 min walk. Nice touch to provide use of bikes, kayak, paddle board and a cooler for our boat tour. Definitely recommend a car rental as taxis are very expensive. Owner and staff are WONDERFUL! We will be back!

A great stay!

The Cottages is a very clean and well run location! We were provided with everything we needed for our time here. The light and simple breakfast at our room was an unexpected bonus. We did have some issues with the local cable service but those were easily fixed and not the fault of the hosts. Everything about this property is clean and updated. The location is away from the more touristy areas of the island but there is everything you need within a reasonable drive. The staff are beyond friendly and helpful! If we return to Cayman we will try to stay here again.

Excellent Stay

Let me say if you're looking for the best place to stay on Grand Cayman, this is it. For starters, the staff is phenomenal! Glen and Vanessa were a true treat. They were friendly, attentive, and helpful without being intrusive. They provide an above and beyond level of hospitality that you wish was everywhere. I cannot say enough about how great they were. The location is right on the water with beautiful views from every room. There are only 10 units so you get that homey feeling and don't feel crowded. The view from the infinity pool is fantastic! The grounds are well maintained and clean, with the units being comfortably furnished. The accommodations provide kayaks, paddle boards, bicycles, coolers, beach toys, even snorkeling gear. Breakfast is provided each morning (make sure to try the house made banana bread) which on Grand Cayman is a huge savings. I loved the East End location because it is peaceful, relaxing, but close to the attractions of Rum Point and Starfish Point. We will definitely stay at the Cottages any time we go to Grand Cayman.

Great location and staff

This location is exactly as it seems online. The unit we stayed in was modern and extremely clean inside and out. The area is super quiet and not crowded. No issues finding a chair or using the facilities. Breakfast came to us every morning on the balcony which was fantastic. My only "complaints" which are very trivial, are that the 1 paddle board for use was extremely worn down with no safety strap. The other is that we got bug bites ALL OVER us, it seemed the bugs were in the condo even trying to keep the door closed as much as possible. The beach itself had tons of debris like grass, shells, etc. Neither were a major issue, but maybe a heads up that we should bring bug spray before arriving or we saw them raking around the property, maybe suggest raking off the small beach in front of the property too. The staff is VERY nice and attentive, but there is not "front desk". You have to call them if you need anything which is not at all an issue. Overall, great snorkeling right off the beach, plenty of things to do on that side of the island and would stay again.

Incredible beach location and comfortable, quiet lodging

We had such an amazing stay at the Cottages over Christmas and New Years. Even before our arrival, communication from the owner of the property was excellent. She sent lots of recommendations, many of which we were glad for. The units include a small kitchen, fridge/freezer, microwave and stove and were also stocked with coffee, tea, sugar and some welcome snacks. Upon recommendation we pre-ordered grocery delivery from Hurleys, and it was already in the unit when we arrived. A major highlight was the fantastic service. Glen and Vanessa, woke us every day with smiles and freshly cooked breakfast. Throughout our stay, they were both beyond helpful with anything we needed and were always a positive presence on the property. The pool, beach, and sea were a great combination and we spent most of our days relaxing here on the sun beds and taking quiet walks along the beach. One of the best parts was how quiet the property is, away from the busier west side, this felt more like our own private island. Next door and a 5 minute walk down the street or beach was a larger resort, grocery store, coffee shop so anything else we needed was close by. We rented a car, and that was helpful for getting around to some of the local food places and day trips to the west side, which were only an hour drive max. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Quiet get-away

The property is new so everything is beautiful and clean. Lynn was super helpful with any questions we had. The location was on the quiet side of the island. We enjoy our stay!!
