"Rented the place in mid-oct for a second-marriage honeymoon. The place was easy to find and was set up perfectly for a two person cozy stay. House faces the sunset and has a deck and sitting porch. Brought my little boat and the boating access is across the street. We had zero issues. We would definitely come back!! Definitely worth it. 👌 "

"Todd is a wonderful host. He is extraordinarily responsive. The house is beautifully set up. The kitchen has everything you need to make full meals you can enjoy in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the stunning valley. The house is an easy drive to Willoughby lake and Mt, Pisgah for a day of hiking. "My husband and I stayed four nights at Leah’s place. She and her husband were absolutely wonderful hosts. Very, very nice people. :) Great location if you want something quiet with beautiful view over the mountain. it’s very close to Island Pond and also to Silvio Conte wildlife refuge. If we go back to Vermont, we will definitely stay there again. Thank you so much, Leah. We had a wonderful time! "

"Second time staying here. It's a great place to stay if you want to be an easy, short ride to some awesome trails and you just need a reliable home bass to hang out, get a good, hot shower, make some food, and get some sleep before heading out to do your outdoor activities. "My wife and I were looking for a quick get away, Keiths cottage was perfect. It had water access to the south bay where we were able to kayak and enjoy watch the bird activity. The home was super clean and had plenty of space to relax. It was a quick drive to the shops and restaurants in downtown Newport. Keith was quick to respond to any questions that we had. I would defiantly stay here again."

"Absolutely perfect relaxing lakefront house in every way! The bed was very comfortable, the relaxation areas were great, the fan really helped cool things off and the windows brought in just enough cool mountain air and the sound of the loons! "We had a great stay!! The view from the house was awesome. We rented kayaks one day from Clyde River Rec and spent the day on the lake. We also hiked to the summit of Mt. Pisgah. All very close by. There is basically no service in the area and wifi is unreliable but we totally enjoyed being off the grid! The Gap restaurant was close by and good. Mostly picked up food from local farm stands though. Overall great stay and owner was responsive!! "

"We've enjoyed our stay at the kirby. The view is breathtaking .Kitchen is fully stocked but some of the utensils have broken handles. But it wasnt a big deal. One of the upstair room have no air conditioner so it gets warm on a hot days. Overall we love the kirby and plan to come back next fall."

"It was quiet, charming in a rustic way, Very clean, and with lots of attention from Kris, the on-site property manager. We were right on Lake Willoughby and it was absolutely gorgeous.
