comfy and cozy
My husband and I stayed at the cabin while attending a family wedding and reunion in the London area. It was the perfect place to relax in between all the activities. Very clean and a beautiful setting in the hills of eastern Kentucky. We hope to visit again in the future and would definitely stay at this cabin if it is available!

Quiet Oasis in Kentucky
The property is listed exactly accurately. Its immaculately clean. Very clean linens and towels. Washer and Dryer available onsite.The host Jerry is extremely helpful and responsive. It was a perfect set up for me and my adult boys Plenty of beds and room for all. Sunsets are beautiful over the pond off the back deck. Wish we would have had time for some fires in the fire pit. Jerry provided wood as well! This property was centrally located between Red River Gorge and Cumberland falls. We hiked Red River Gorge one day and rafted Cumberland falls area the other. This property is very reasonably priced and a great quiet spot. Just thought i would mention how great Jerry was when my battery died on my truck. Cam right down to give us a jump. Lastly the two trails are nice for a walk. Grey trail is less hilly. Red trail has more elevation changes etc. Take a stick as there are some webs you need to go thru. I guess the only thing i could suggest as improvements are a larger coffee pot, extra blankets.

Great getaway!
The cabin was super clean. It seemed brand new. The trash can was even clean! Very well cared for. Beautiful cabin, beautiful lake and view. The fishing was great and the private trails around the property were great! Only things that could be improved would be to add keyless entry. We had to try to coordinate our arrival to get the key. After a few texts, we were able to arrange us getting in without meeting for the key. Water pressure was a bit low. Overall, I would highly recommend this place! Very comfortable!!

Fabulous getaway
We traveled cross-country to enjoy Laurel Lake and the beautiful Kentucky farmlands and rolling green hills. The private pond was a huge bonus, sunsets were beautiful, fire pit for smores and family time, and close to Laurel Lake. We had 3 teenagers with us and they loved it as much as we did! Owners were great to work with and the accommodations were very clean and well cared for. LOVED the hiking trails around the property too!

Foxrun should be Comfy cabin
My son and I spent 4 days at Fox run. We're from Florida and needed a country getaway after a long year of heartache and loss. Jerry was very helpful in letting us know how to get to the cabin if the GPS disconnected. The cabin itself is perfectly secluded in a very quiet quaint little area. The view was incredible from the balcony and had perfect sunrise and sunset. We enjoyed the trails on the property when we just needed some time in nature. Only 30 minutes from Cumberland falls and the cabin had anything you would need during your stay as far as cooking utensils, firewood and so on. We are thinking of going back sometime in the summer so that we can enjoy the pond, fishing, and shooting range. It was THE PLACE for some much needed peace and quiet. We can't wait to go back.

If you want to get away, and want to relax, be comfortable and enjoy nature – this place is for you!
Where do we start . . . our family had a fantastic experience at this place!! Jerry is a phenomenal host and accommodated our every need. He takes pride (and it shows) in his property and ensures that you can enjoy all the benefits that it has to offer. This cabin was immaculate inside! We loved the open concept of the cabin. There were hardwood floors throughout and carpet in the bedroom and loft only. The beds were all very comfortable. There were several pillows to choose from to meet everyone’s needs. The master bedroom had a TV with satellite channels as did the main area of the cabin, above the electric fireplace. The Wi-fi worked great and there was also an Alexa. Several card and board games were available for us to play. The kitchen had every utensil, dish, plate and bowl that you could imagine. There was a full sized refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker and convection oven. The bathrooms were stocked with more than enough plush towels and washcloths for our family. There was a washer and dryer available to use (bring your own soap and softener). There was a binder and brochures for us to read not only about the property itself, but with recommendations around the area. We enjoyed walking the trails on the property which were clearly labeled and available on a map to take along with you on your hike. We saw deer and farms on our walks and were surrounded by beautiful scenery. The fire pit was very nicely designed and Jerry provided us with more wood than we could’ve ever imagine burning. We enjoyed cooking on the charcoal grill down near the fire pit. We had fun on the paddleboat out in the pond (lifejackets were provided). Our son even caught a fish while we were there! We sat on the back porch with a beautiful view overlooking the pond. We spent a day at the Wildcat Off-Road Park in Laurel County – located not far from the cabin. We also drove to Cumberland Falls that was only about an hour away. It was SO quiet and peaceful here! Our family felt very safe and secluded, even though other houses and farms could be seen from the cabin – yet seemed so far away. The cabin is easily accessible (with Jerry's directions) and not far from restaurants, stores and so much to do. This place is a hidden treasure and truly worth every penny! If you want to get away, and want to relax, be comfortable and enjoy nature – this place is for you!

Great Cabin
Cabin was perfect. Kids played around the pond, skipped rocks, walked the trials, and had a fire all 3 nights we stayed. Cabin was nice and clean and had everything needed inside.

Beautiful!!
The cabin was immaculate. There was nothing out of place and everything was super clean. Smelt brand new. The check in was a little different from what we are used to, but it gave us a chance to meet the owner and he was great. The location was BEAUTIFUL. Nice wooded location by some water where we could wat h the sun set from either the house, porch, or a bench down by the water. My kids enjoyed frog hunting and fishing. They even took out the paddle boat. This has definitely been a memorable stay that we will smile back on for years to come.

What more could you ask for? The perfect little getaway. Quiet place with plenty to do on site or take about a 30 to 45 minute drive and have plenty more to do. Highly recommend, we will go back for sure. The host Jerry was very friendly and informative on the area. Thanks

We really enjoyed our stay! We fished, hiked, rode in the pedalboat, used the gun range, and roasted hot dogs. London was a short distance with plenty of restaurants. It's a great place to relax and unwind.

Fantastic little getaway!
Our family of 4 stayed here for the week and had a very relaxing vacation. We swam in the pond, fished a lot, had campfires, and grilled out. The cabin had almost everything we needed for the week. (I would recommend more blankets as there was only one lightweight blanket per bed and we would have liked something heavier at night.) Everything was super clean. Kitchen/appliances are pretty small and not much room to spread out, but we mostly ate outside and enjoyed the beautiful views. We caught a lot of fish and the kids enjoyed swimming and paddleboating. We all enjoyed the gun range as well. The host was so friendly and welcoming! You will definitely enjoy a stay here.

Perfect Rental
I don’t think there is enough room to write all the wonderful things about this property. An excellent place to stay. It is VERY clean and modern. The owners have thought of every detail, even down to the smallest detail. For example, by the fire pit, each chair has a flat circle stone so you have a place to set your drink. Walking trails on the property are great. View from the house is beautiful. Before we had even left the property, we were already plotting a trip back. Highly recommend!

Great little place
This tiny cabin feels very big once inside. Great views and super clean. Only down side is the spiral staircase is a little small. We are all big guys 6'2"-6'6" so the average person will be fine. Overall though a great place to get away for a few days.

Detox Stay
This place was just what we all needed. We love to fish and shoot. The place was very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed waking up early in the morning making coffee and sitting out on the porch looking over the pond. It was peaceful as well and loved the trails. I definitely marked this as a place to come back and stay.

Stay at the cabin
My wife and I are 1st responders and have had a very stressful year so we were looking for a quiet get away for a few days. This place fit the bill perfectly, the owner Jerry was very accessible and helpful with all questions, the cabin was Super clean, well stocked, quiet, beautiful scenery, nice fishing lake, nice clean walking trails. Along with relaxing we fished, hiked, cooked out, sat around fire ring, as well as target shooting, would highly recomend this cabin to all.

Great place, great stay!
Beautiful little place out in the country, property owner went through everything thoroughly and we were able to grill, relax, fish, hike while staying a few nights. Close drive to wildcat atv park which is what brought us to town. There was enough room for a couple trucks and trailers with ease. Thanks Jerry, appreciated your beautiful location!

Sweetest Home!
I visited for a birthday getaway and it was nothing but cozy and perfect! The cabin was spacious and had a beautiful view with a lot to do on the property. The kitchen was fully stocked making cooking very easy for us. We spent a lot of our time by the fire which was exactly what we wanted. I will 100% stay here again. Everything about the cabin and the hosts were awesome

Absolutely Amazing
The location was absolutely perfect for our purposes. We planned a hiking vacation. Cumberland Falls, Eagle Falls, Gray's Arch, Natural Bridge, Indian Staircase etc. The actual cabin was beautiful. A pond, fire pit, paddle boat, gun range, fully appointed kitchen. the view was gorgeous. I recommend anyway going out to that part of Kentucky stay at this cabin. Thank you for a great trip.

Relaxing Country Weekend
This place was FABULOUS!!! Jerry was the perfect host. His place was so charming and absolutely immaculate! As soon as we walked in the door we knew it was the perfect place. We just loved the cabin and how it was set up. There was plenty of room for our family of 5. The view of the lake and countryside off the back deck was just beautiful. My husband and sons spent most of the time fishing, while I just sat and relaxed. We had great weather and enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. We have already recommended to our friends and we will definitely be back ourselves.

Super private feeling. Great fishing. Easy drive to Cumberland Falls and Lake Laurel and only 25 minutes to Flat Lick Falls a hidden gem!! Loved every minute of our stay.

We can't wait to visit again!
Our family loved being at the cabin. Jerry and Candy were so nice and helpful. We spend most of our time at the cabin fishing or riding in the paddle boat. My two children 7 and 10 loved it there so much. They were upset we weren't staying longer. It was so peaceful and relaxing. I loved just sitting on the porch and watching my family fish while I relaxed. We can't wait to go back again!
