"This lovely renovated home was very welcoming. Being three couples, the house was spacious and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The location is well suited to easily get around. Our stay in the area was to explore the region and visit the Fortress Louisbourg. We had a minor issue with the WIFI, but the owner was prompt to answer our text and come and resolve the problem. We were all very pleased with our stay. "

"We wish we could live at Rita’s retreat all the time! Our room was nice and cozy. The backyard is so spacious and peaceful all the way down to the water. The indoor saltwater pool was icing on the cake! Mike was very accommodating, helpful and fun to talk to— I recommend Rita’s Retreat!"

"A group of eight guys headed to Cape Breton for 4 nights and five days at Baddeck and luckily picked the best possible place to stay that we could. "We had an absolutely wonderful time at this cottage. I would come back in a heartbeat. With a full kitchen we were able to make dinner and plan meals for our day trips. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of blankets for the chillier nights. The grounds were beautiful with lots of space for the kids to play. The back porch was a peaceful place to have a cup of coffee in the morning. I don’t have any negative comments, nothing could have been better. It was absolutely perfect. "
