"This property was beautiful! So cute for a small gathering if renting all three cabins. This was a solo visit and the peace and quiet was much appreciated! The thoughtful amenities were great! Would recommend that you bring a cooler with ice as there is only a small community fridge. But if your looking for some rest and relaxation and privacy this is the spot!"

"Birdsong is an adorable cottage & perfect place for me to stay while in town for several weeks. We were lucky that the flowers on the property were blooming so it was extra pretty! The cottage is close to uptown and 74, and is the perfect size for two people! Marywinn was wonderful and easy to deal with, quick to communicate and I highly recommend her property if you're staying in Shelby! "

"Was really nice but your cleaning crew needs a refresher course. Cobwebs and spiders in the corner's of kitchen. And the bedrooms. Closets were not adaptable for hanging clothes. Both be being used for storage. TV in bedroom never worked. Only the one over the fireplace. No kitchen sink. But it was all in all a good experience. We are RV's so adaptation is our strong suit. Would we stay again absolutely, but it could be improved. "

I book this stay last minute for a work assignment and I had a bad experience from the beginning I didn’t received a code for the door prior to arrival and I had driven 7.5 hours. When I did arrive I tried contacting the property owner for check in instructions and I could not reach him. I contacted VRBO and they were able to reach him hours later. "This property offered everything we needed for a visit with family. We were 10-20 minutes away from key stops, yet tucked away out of the noise, offering privacy at our home away from home. The beds were very comfortable and the layout easy to navigate.I do recommend that small lamps are put on the nightstands beside the beds for evening reading. "

"Its a big house in the woods - its very nice and comfortable. The surroundings are the woods, very serene and quiet. Not far from all amenities, you may require. The "hiker crosswalk" is the marker for the turn into the driveway. Its sorta' steep, but I cant imagine a car not being able to negotiate it. Its gravel and goes down to a small circle in front of the house. We visited relatives across the State line in SC and had a terrific stay. Would definitely stay again."
