"Our stay on Craig Creek was wonderful! The weather was incredibly windy so we couldn't do much on the creek and lost power due to the insane winds Saturday but it was so lovely to be outside and exploring the area right around the cabin. Mitch reported the outage for us and called us when the power was restored to ensure everything was ok. The porch bedroom was amazing as well! It was so nice to wake up with the creek and mountain view directly in front of you and we could see the stars at...

"A group of retired couples stayed at River's Bend for New Year's weekend. We never left the place and had a fantastic time. Kitchen was well stocked, game room offered ping pong and pool, hiking right from property. The owner even took the trouble of getting 3 kayaks out of winter storage so that we could kayak on an unusually warm New Year's eve day! She was fantastic :)"

"Rented this unit for some employees. I misunderstood what two of them was telling me when they said their wives would be in next job. The wives showed up here and I had not disclosed them. The host was undstanding and let them go ahead and spend the night. I would have completely understood if she would have been upset. But after I apologized and explained she was forgiving. Place is well maintained and you can tell they put alot of time and energy into keeping it up."

"A very peaceful and beautiful getaway. Very secluded property with a lovely view of the river. Ideal spot to unwind and enjoy nature. The house is well-stocked, very clean, and really cozy. The host is very thoughtful and even offered to drive me to various hiking spots. There is a very nice trail very close to the house if you don't feel like driving around a lot. I would plan to get groceries before arriving since the grocery store is a bit of a drive. Highly recommend!!"

"We love staying at the River Cottage when visiting family in the area. The porch and backyard are my favorite things about the cottage. It is so delightful to gather there for visiting, relaxing and grilling. The kitchen is large and a pleasure to work in. The beds are very comfortable. The owners provide many "extras" that often are not included in rental homes which is quite generous and convenient."

"We had a comfortable 3 night stay at your River retreat en route to Ohio for the solar eclipse. The weather was unfortunately very cold which restricted our outdoor activities. The cabin was cozy and clean with a very comfortable bed. The only thing missing was a toaster! Thank you."

"We were 6 adults .. wide range of ages. Each of us was most pleased with the house and gracious amenities. House was lovely, welcoming, sparklingly clean with comfortable beds, good showers, fully stocked kitchen supplies with surprising extras. (Bedrooms were one flight up and a room with a futon and full bath one flight down from main level.) Been in Vrbo, b&b and airb&b places .. Breezewood is set as my gold standard! We’d stay again in a heart beat!"

"Great little rustic cabin with an exceptional view. Stayed here with family and our two dogs, and we all had a wonderful time. The cabin had everything we needed. We sat on the front porch in the morning and watched the river roll by, and played board games in the evening in the screened pavilion. We saw deer and turkeys passing thru the yard.
