"What a phenomenal place to stay! The lighthouse has been totally updated with a very cool design vibe and comfortable porches all around with views and plenty of fresh air. The proximity to great food and drink (Fitzgerald’s—highly recommended); things to do and see in the beautiful UP; golf; antiquing; beach walking; Jampot; card games; books in the rental—we loved it and will return, hoping next summer!"

"Everything we wanted! Huge yard, spacious tiddy cottage, surrounded by nature and quiet! Great central location for exploring all the Keweenaw has to offer. We appreciate Riverside Cottage more and more, everytime we visit. (I love that you can hear the river right through your open windows at night.) Make time to walk down to the river and explore a bit. It is goregous! Reasonable rates and great host."

"Wonderful, gorgeous cottage - roomier than expected and delightfully decorated with many personal touches and a very well stocked kitchen (the only thing missing was ice!). Loved loved the setting and location. Would love to come back. Could comfortably accommodate two couples or a family of 6… such great creature comforts including games and books "

"Such a nice little cabin. We weren't able to enjoy the sauna because of our short stay but it looked really cool. We did really make use of the wood stove inside the cabin. We was very grateful for that. The fact that we could take my mom's dog was wonderful! The owners provided everything you'd need to be comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by the bonfire pit and the awesome wood supply even though we didn't use it. We'd love to come back some day. It was a great experience!"

"We really enjoyed the fact it was so quiet. It may be the time of year, but we are already tentatively planning a spring visit to family and this is top of the list! Also, the fact they even have a couple blankets to the side for pets who sleep on the bed was a nice touch."

"This cottage is very comfortable in a safe, calm and peaceful setting. It had everything we needed and we were even able to borrow dog beds to make sure our dogs didn't get cozy on furniture! It is a perfect location to explore Copper country. We did several hikes in the area including Mt. Baldy, Black Creek, Eagle Harbor trails, Horseshoe Harbor, and the trail in the town of Central. After hiking in the rain one day, we fired up the common sauna for some extra relaxation."

"This cottage was everything as advertised. When driving up to the property my husband commented “Wow, this is it!” after staying in a few other areas that were not as quiet and private. Right smack dab in wooded nature yet cleared grounds for exploring. Steps away from Lake Superior, we were able to enjoy the beautiful sunsets as well as search for the infamous Yooperlites. "Thank you so much for letting us stay at your wonderful place right on lake superior. The furniture and design was top notch. When we arrived it was quite late so we were hungry and tried. To our surprise in the freezer was a wonderful frozen pizza. I don't know where it came from but thank you!We were informed after we left we had left a valuable phone/watch charger stand. Sherry thank you for mailing that to us. The host not only greeted us when we arrived but also mailed our belongings....
