Boiler Room - Cozy log cabin at Haliburton Forest.

When your whole crew needs a place to land, the Boiler Room delivers. This open-loft log cabin at Haliburton Forest and Wild Life Reserve Ltd. is built for groups and families with older kids — up to 10 guests sleeping together in one generous, character-filled space that feels like a proper wilderness lodge.

Ten single beds are arranged in the open loft above a spacious ground-floor living area, warmed by a wood stove with firewood supplied. The full kitchen means real meals are on the table: stove and oven, full-sized fridge, coffeemaker, kettle, and all the cookware and dishes you need. Two bathrooms — a 2-piece and a 3-piece with shower — mean no morning queues. A large front deck and a firepit outback with firewood complete the picture.

Facecloths, towels, hand soap and dish soap are provided.

Important note: sheets, pillows, and blankets are not supplied — pack your own sleeping bags and bedding. In addition to be environmentally conscious the units are not supplied with any single use products. Please bring your own coffee (we have filters for the machine), tea, spices, shampoo, conditioner and soap for the shower.

Pets are welcome.

In the winter we are a snowmobiling and winter only ATVing top 10 destination and an ice fishing paradise! We also offer quiet use trails for snowshoeing and winter hiking!
