"Great location Perfect spot for us as we spent our days here geocaching in the area. Everything is as advertised. Super comfy and cozy. Not a lot of restaurants in the area so we planned to eat in and the kitchen had everything we needed. Including a dishwasher - yay!! Clean and well equipped. Nice and quiet. FYI - be sure to bring your own paper products. No paper towels or tissues and 1 roll of TP for a 3 night stay. We would come back to this location. "

"It was our very first time to Algonquin. We enjoyed outdoor activities at the property on the first day, and stayed indoor for the last two days due to bad weather. We had lots of fun with Kayaking, canoeing, fishing, taking pictures, playing board games, playing Switch. The view of fall on the lake was fantastic. We even gave up visiting provincial parks nearby. It exactly like you enjoy painting pictures when you looked out the windows. The house warmed up quickly and evenly with floor heating...

"In Huntsville area to visit with grandchildren. Booked this location for the close proximity to Huntsville, for the lake, water activities (kayaks, paddle boards) and pet friendly. Could not have asked for a better location !! The Windermere is a bit rustic, but well appointed and we loved it. Can’t wait to visit again !!!
