Vintage Scotty Camper Cottage w/AC - Durham, NC

You will be Camping in a surviving Vintage Camper. It’s similar to camping at a State Park but in an urban back yard setting near downtown Durham. It’s a pretty cool vibe. This 1974 Scotty is mostly original with upgrades like Smart TV and Wi-fi. U will have cold water at the sink in the camper. Gas stovetop. Toaster Oven in lieu of Gas Oven, Microwave, also a Fridge, Heat & A/C. Close by camp style Enclosed Shower, Bathroom, Grill, Picnic, Laundry & Fire Pit in Common Area.

This is a cute, comfortable space renovated in 2020.

Parking is Off-Street in front of main house… short walk to Camper in back yard.

I’m sorry to have to announce this, but no animals can be in this space. I am very allergic to cats and dogs. I’ve had years of extensive allergy shots and been allergic my whole life with swelling eyes, sinus infections and shortness of breath due to spaces where animals have been. Thank you in advance for understanding and respecting my condition. I love animals despite not being able to enjoy them fully. and NO SMOKING in or around the camper!
I am available via text if you have an iPhone and What's App using my phone number even if I'm traveling abroad. I am a touring musician and am reachable most of the time unless I'm on stage. If you don't have an iPhone and don't use What's App, the Air BnB messing is the next best way to reach me. I’m available via text and phone call 24/7 unless i’m on stage performing. You will be among other camping guests in other nearby campers.

We are in a typical old-school southern rural residential area on the outskirts of Durham, NC. 10 min from Duke Hospital, 20 min to Airport and 30min from Raleigh. Chapel Hill and Hillsborough Are each 20 min drive as well. We are 5 min drive from all things downtown Durham (breweries, bars, coffee shopped, etc. and one mile from a Wal-Mart & Dollar-Tree Plaza.

Shared Facilities: The large individual use enclosed Shower is Outdoors with Hot Water, Large Mirror, and Good Vibes is located on the porch of the nearby Cottage about 20 feet from the Camper. I recommend a Robe to walk to and from shower. Please check the photos of this space. The Bathroom with Toilet and Vanity are in a separate space than the shower and also shown in the photos. The Laundry Room is in a room at the back of the main house and is also shared by the camping guests between 10am & 10pm. There is a Gas Grill and a Fire Pit, Picnic Tables, and Patio in the Common Area between the Campers. You will see dogs, cats and typical North Carolina insects as you are “camping” :-)

Do not leave leftovers in fridge
You may leave unopened sealed packaged non-perishables behind.

Please clean up after yourself and leave cottage in condition as if you had not even been there.
