"We really enjoyed our stay at Thimblewynd from Aug 09 - 24 and would recommend cottage to others. Cottage was ideally suited for two of us. Loved the character of the house combined with the modern amenities i.e. updated upstairs bathroom. We loved the location in Dunning with a short walk to local Nisa store that had a great selection of items, and the lovely Kirkstyle pub just down the road. Can recommend too the cafe at Broadslap just as you come into Dunning. We found the cottage to be...

"Immaculate accommodation, exceptionally clean and nicely decorated. Good coffee pod machine with fresh milk which was a nice touch. Good shower and toiletries. Very centrally located to all amenities, including shops and train/bus stations. Cheap car parking for £3.50/day at the train station. Only slight niggles were strange clicking noises coming from fridge and would have liked an earlier check in time. Aside from that, we very much enjoyed our stay. "

"Wow what a location. Gemma came and met us for check in, everything was ready and organized, easily process to get us swiftly sorted. After a long drive from the south of England. The lounge has the most amazing view, the tv is small, who cares? the is ever changing. The location is fantastic and only a few minutes drive to the great little village of Dunkeld. Beautiful walks, I could go on, and on!"

"We had a fantastic weekend at the Manse. There is plenty of space, all the rooms are beautiful, clean and the beds are very comfortable. Lovely to use the wood burners when it got a bit chilly. The kitchen is well-equipped and the big driveway was perfect since we had quite a few cars coming. Host is very nice and communication was simple and straight-forward."

"The modern kitchen, beautiful grounds and historic stairways and rooms were so clean and comfortable for us. I was impressed because it’s not easy to keep such an old property in such a clean condition! I even had a bath one night. We loved exploring the woods and small stream around the house as well as getting out to other spots around Scotland. The house was out of the way but easily accessible even for those used to driving on the other side of the road! Loved our time here. Only downside...

"The property was great. It was a full apartment on the main drag, but surprisingly quiet. The WiFi was strong. The kitchen was fully stocked. The rooms were comfortable and clean.
