Cozy cottage @ private lake. Able to accommodate 3 travelers for summer season

Experience FARM LIFE on the Cumberland Mountains of Tennessee! Enjoy waking up in our 650sq ft, open floor plan cottage with a wood burning flame view stove, on our homestead with a large private Mountain Lake and 77 wooded acres to hike and enjoy! We have seasonal flowers such as daffodils, peonies, lavender, dahlias and more. We also have on the farm a variety of Farm Animals (chickens, turkeys, peacocks, geese, horses, dogs, cats and 1 pig) that love interacting with visitors.
Our private lake is available for catch and release fishing, swimming, canoeing and kayaking. There is a propane grill for your use.
Other nearby sites include historic Chattanooga, Tennessee Aquarium, beautiful Rock City Gardens and Ruby Falls attractions along with several local state parks with waterfalls at Fall Creek Falls , Savage Gulf and Rock Island State Parks for further Tennessee exploration. Please be aware that security cameras monitor the adjacent exterior perimeter of the cabin.

Wonderful Time

Mom and I had a fabulous time kayaking, fishing (catch and release), swimming, and petting the dogs and miniature horses. The homeowners are extremely kind people, the cabin is comfortable, and the property is stunning. Mom and I hope to return!

What a perfect getaway! The cabin was cozy, comfortable, and felt just like home. Every little detailā€”from the fresh flowers to the charming character throughoutā€”made it extra special.We loved spending time outdoors: catching shellcracker, bass, and brim, walking down to see the beautiful turkeys, peacocks, and pig, and petting the sweet ponies. The two dogs were the best companyā€”such sweethearts!One of our favorite moments was sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch, listening to the rain. Peaceful and grounding. This place was exactly the escape we needed from the noise of the world. Thank you for creating such a welcoming retreat!

Amazing!

The property was beautiful! Everything was just as it listed. The bed was a little firm for my wife but other than that no complaints! Owners were very friendly and didnā€™t bother us at all on the stay unless we messaged them first .

The perfect getaway

I wanted a cozy place to unplug and unwind before starting a new job and this stay did not disappoint! Bring sunscreen because you'll want to spend all your time outside. We hiked, fished, canoed, and spent lots of time petting the animals. It was glorious!

A perfect trip for beauty, privacy, and fishing off the deck! My husband caught about 30 fish, bass and bream. It is catch and release. It is a beautifully decorated cottage on a farm where the owners live further down the lake. Lovely flowers to enjoy. While he fished, I took a long walk and saw all the animals including two friendly dogs, and I enjoyed the kayaking. No TV, but our IPADS worked perfectly. I am 76 and my husband is 79, and we had no trouble with navigation on the property. We will be back!

We left a day early it was a place to relax, the roosters were a little annoying in the early morning kinda like life on the farm. The cottage was tastefully decorated needed a little TLC on somethingā€™s all in all it was welcoming.

Once you visit this cozy cabin once you will want to go back! This is a great place to recharge and get away from the rest of world The owners are great and are very helpful. There are two kayaks and a canoe available with paddle's, they have a huge catch and release lake, you can swim or there are tubes that we utilized just to float, the cabin is stocked with plates, cups, and silverware, thereā€™s a small hiking trail as well right out the back door. One of our favorite things was the animals that we met (ā€œright out the front doorā€). Most or all of their animals are rescues which include ducks, chickens, 3 or 4 ponies, a pig, a few barn cats , and two friendly dogs named Chris and Bear who enjoyed following/showing us around ā˜ŗļø:) on top of allll of that the owners Joel and Kim who own Providence Farm have a little shop set up inside the cabin where you can buy eggs, fresh bread, honey, pepper jelly, muscadine grape jelly, apply jelly, wreaths, bouquets from their flower garden and more!! This is a home away from home and I promise you will never want to leave!

Fantastic cabin. It was so nice to get away and enjoy nature. The farm was wonderful and was just what we needed to unwind. The owners are great and the check in was easy. We will return!
