"Slightly panicked when we arrived and they couldn’t find the booking of the couple we travelled with but luckily they had a room available… receptionist was so lovely we couldn’t be mad. Bar area was fantastic .. big group of us and they let us moved all the furniture so we could all be together. Bed was unbelievably comfortable.. best I’ve slept in for a long time and the shower was fab so although the room not fancy we really loved our stay. Breakfast was beautiful .. plenty of choice even...

"A very nice comfortable flat as a base for joining our family celebrations nearby. The stairs would be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues and this should probably be mentioned in the description. Having said that we managed fine with some extra care and the bedroom on the same floor as the bathroom was useful. We had everything we needed and Peter was great to communicate with. Would happily stay again."

"Hated writing this one. Were huge on not caring too much about overall condition and usually go based on price concern with a balance of convenience, quiet and cleanliness. Great place if you can actually get it cheap and just need it a night or two. TONS of stairs, don’t book if you have a bunch of luggage or are by yourself and have several pieces to carry. "Kilconquhar Castle Estate Villa was the perfect location to celebrate our Son’s 40th birthday. Chloe and Yvonne in reception were very friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely meal in The White Cockade Bistro and Jamie Lee and Valentina were both excellent in serving us. I enjoyed my early morning swim before we set off for a walk around Elie."
