"What a hidden treasure we found in Dunbar! We ended up spending two days just in Dunbar as we loved the area. Having my morning coffee on the balcony where I was entertained by various birds, then going to sleep with the sounds of the ocean through my window, was perfect. The flat had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and if I ever come back, I would stay here again. The only suggestion would be some brief explanations of the electrical/hot water/heating systems. Very foreign to...

"We were surprised at how much bigger the lodge is when you’re inside . Very comfortable and everything we needed to enjoy our stay . We found that it was easy to get to all the places we visited. We would definitely return. "

"Martha’s Harbour (name of condo) is locared in St Monans within walking distance to everywhere - the village, up & down the Coastal Path, & over to The Bowhouse for specialty treats. Spectacular view of Firth of Forth from anywhere in the condo. And, within easy driving distance to quality restaurants, St Andrew’s, Crail, Anstruther, & Pittenweem - all worth exploration. We were there for 6 weeks & loved every minute. "

"Perfect location. Amazing views from your own bench set and fire pit or the porch. Cabin was very clean with all mod cons - even USB charging points. Comfortable bed and the best shower I’ve even experienced on a campsite. Owner was polite, friendly and helpful. We booked an extra night and will definitely be staying again - next time with dog!"

"The flat was exactly as described. It was very comfortable and filled with thoughtful touches. Tea cups, and a tea pot with everything we needed was set out for us when we arrived was a lovely touch. It is great location, so close to the harbor. And of course, North Berwick is wonderful."

"We had a ball. Roomy, comfy, plenty of common area(s). Close enough to town to walk to pub and Co-op. Close to fantastic golf courses. Could not have been better!"

"All was great. This is a working stable with horses and those many that have to care for horses, plus at least one friendly dog. You felt welcomed and that was appreciated. With a 15 minute drive you are in North Berwick and so close to John Muir park and Seacliff. Seacliff is special. The only, and minor, negative was that it was not a peaceful place when we were there- lots of tree trimming (Chain saw) and chipping- so very noisy at times. I would guess this is a rare event and suggested to...

"Great communication with the owner. Superb location with sea views from several rooms. Modern kitchen, comfortable beds, many amenities, off street parking and within a short walk to shops, pubs, etc. The personal touch from the owner was much appreciated as well. "

"We stayed for a long weekend at North Berwick with my elderly Mother. The location is fantastic, being almost on the sea front with spectacular views out to Bass Rock.The house had everything we needed, with a large well equipped kitchen and two lounges.We chose Guillemots because we needed ground floor living accommodation for Mum. Whilst she managed the ground floor room with en suite, it isn't particularly set up for a disabled person, and so anyone doing similar may need to take grab rails...

"A hospedagem foi bem ruim. Ao chegarmos para fazer o check-in, já havia anoitecido e não tinha ninguém no local. Ligamos para um número que estava visível do lado de fora e, depois de muitas tentativas esperando no frio/chuva, o gerente do local atendeu. Entrando no quarto, percebemos que não era o mesmo que tínhamos reservado, pois reservamos um quarto maior, no térreo, e esse era menor e no 1º andar. Além disso, o aquecedor não estava funcionando. Enviamos uma mensagem para o gerente e ele falou que havia um timer e que o aquecedor ia começar a funcionar. Porém, o aquecedor só mantinha aquecido um pequeno raio ao redor dele, e não o quarto todo. Passamos a noite no QUARTO GELADO. Chegamos a perguntar para outras hóspedes se o aquecedor estava funcionando e disseram que não, mas que não iriam reclamar porque iam embora no outro dia. Relatamos o problema para o gerente do local e ele chegou a ir ao nosso quarto duas vezes, mas a resposta dele foi basicamente "sinto muito pelo seu desconforto, os outros hóspedes não estão reclamando". E assim ficamos em Edimburgo, com temperatura abaixo de 10 °C, num quarto gelado. Outro ponto é que, nas comodidades da hospedagem, há expressa menção à limpeza diária, mas isso NÃO ocorreu. O quarto só foi "limpo" 1 única vez porque pedimos, e o lixo não foi trocado nenhuma vez durante a minha reserva. O chuveiro é péssimo e o sinal de internet é bem precário, pelo menos nos quartos de cima. Poderia reclamar +, mas há limite de caracter."
