"Great location - directly opposite tessellated pavement and a short walk to the sandy beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival. Booked a Mountain View Superior King Room. Room was very clean and tidy. Bit on the small side, but very fresh (recently renovated) and comfortable. Room had no A/C, even though advertised that it did - this made the room a bit stuffy overnight. Dined at restaurant - staff very friendly, prompt service, and very good meal. Plenty of onsite parking, though...

"Definitely, Best Western is one of the best hotel networks available in Australia, and this one in Hobart follows the same standard. The best value for money, I mean. Our room seemed like brand new, perhaps it was recently refurbished. It was very spacious (fits well 3 people), quite, with a very well-designed toilet and comfortable beds. One weakness is that they don’t have room service on Sundays. Besides, the in-suite access to the wifi network was also very unstable and slow. Anyway, we...

"Iron Creek Bay is not centrally located but an easy drive to town centre and restaurants. Onsite restaurant is not opened for dinner so we cannot comment on the restaurant The place is serene and wonderful with lots of animals roaming around. The orchards have many fruit trees. It's very peaceful there. Our unit is basic and small but clean and adequate for two. Noise insulation is not good as we can hear the conversation and TV of the next room.
