At Blue Stone Bluff, It’s all about the view!

Located in the heart of the North Shore of beautiful Lake Superior, (1.3 miles north of Betty's Pies) this property has the perfect location. This one level property features 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, as well as 2 full bathrooms . Kitchen features gas stove top, double ovens, dishwasher and large refrigerator. The kitchen is fully stocked with all your kitchen needs so you can cook gourmet meals for your group. A gas grill on the deck makes it easy to grill all of your favorite foods. Enjoy a meal or cup of coffee on the deck and watch the boats go by. Also very close to Gooseberry Falls and Split Rock Lighthouse! Should you need anything during your stay Two Harbors is just a quick car ride away and has everything you could need.
Please be aware there is a fee of of $25 per night for pets .
Failure to disclose any pets coming to the property will charged to you

This home was one of our best (if not the best) VRBO stays. The location was perfect for all north shore activities. The house was extremely clean and well equipped with everything we might possibly need. The beds were super comfy and the bright airy layout made this a place we were anxious to return to at the end of a busy day of hiking. The highlight of our stay, hands down, was the view - WOW! We loved having dinner and playing cards on the deck followed by evening fires around the fire pit - both of which provided stunning lake views. We'll definitely be back!!

Like the listing says- it's all about the view, gorgeous view of the lake, windows all across the back of the house. King bed is very comfortable! The kitchen is well equipped- plenty of dishes, pots, serving pieces. Facts I wish I had known--the house is located on route 61, so there's a fair amount of traffic noise. No central AC, just ONE window unit in the king size room. The heat is interesting- the welcome book states the heat is controlled by an app on the owner's cell, so you let them know if you want it changed. Wasn't an issue for us, but good to know. As another reviewer mentioned- there are cameras- 1 on each exterior side of the house & a sign on the property line that says "smile you're on camera". There are issues with previous guests going on to the neighbors property trying to access the lake. There are 2 other small bungalows/cabins right on the same property, sharing the driveway; no one was staying there during our stay, so not an issue for us-- but I would have liked to know if there were going to be other guests so close.

Overall, its beautiful! Only issue is there were no screens on the windows so we weren't able to open them for a cool breeze at night. It got kinda stuffy in the bedrooms even with the sliding door open. ( we did find screens on the morning we checked out in a closet while we were looking for a broom. )

Beautiful home with outstanding views of Lake Superior. This home is remote and quiet. Was a bit concerned about the camera that faced the outdoor area. We were not informed of this camera thru any communication, and felt it was invasive.

What a beautiful and peaceful location. The view was stunning and located at a great distance from all things North Shore. Our son age 12 wanted to stay for many many more days and it was our first vacation with our dog and the enclosed deck was absolutely perfect!

Simply the best

Everything about this property is exceptional. It is more like a villa than a cabin on Lake Superior. We are 4 seniors in our 70s (my best friends) and annually since 2001we gather at a cabin on the North Shore. This is the best!

Fantastic View

Had a great time. The house was beautiful, clean organized, it had everything we needed. Our boys did not want to leave the place. Coffee on the deck or gazebo every morning, bon fire every night and and just sitting and chatting with the boys. Thank you for a memorable stay. we are 100% positive that we will reserve the property next year.

Exceptionally clean and beautiful!

We rented this home for Grandma’s marathon weekend and our stay couldn’t have been any better! The home and the view are beautiful, and it was spotless. It was absolutely the cleanest rental home I’ve ever stayed in. The communication for check-in/check-out was great, including a lovely message from the owners on the day we checked in. We would definitely rent this home again. Thank you so much to the owners for sharing your gorgeous home!

Blue Stone Bluff was fantastic. The location is perfect and I love all the updates and upgrades they have available. Whether you want to have an outdoor fire, lounge in the outdoor space, or relax inside, the space is perfect. We had amazing views of the ships coming by and the indoor space was perfect. The hosts are very easy to get ahold is if necessary.

It was all about the view.

The property was clean and well kept. I don't recall seeing the gazebo on the property information and it was a nice bonus. The view from the deck was great. It was a little too cold and wet to enjoy the deck, but having a fireplace made the stay more enjoyable.

Gorgeous Place

Great views, high end appliances, a bidet (!), all quite excellent. Close to 61, so we had our pup on a tie-out when she was outside (they already had the ground tie in place.)

Relaxing Retreat

As we just relocated to MN April 2024, this was our first trip to the North Shore with our furry girls. It is truly all about the view at Blue Stone Bluff. Even though we had 2 days of rainy weather, we still felt as though we were able to enjoy the atmosphere of the lake as it is a major part of the living space and both bedrooms. Hosts were also attentive to any questions we had. We hope to return next fall for a longer stay and figures crossed we'll get another chance to use the firepit and lovely gazebo!
